even i don't like smoking. and drinking bhi thodi thodi hi pasand hai muje just jisme bus inhibition khatam ho but body par pura control rahe.

I have really experienced that ..like few days back I was talking to my frd's(boy) di abt menstruation hormones..she is a medical student ,my frd was also there and we all three were talking casually...we three are just like real siblings only...both of our mother were also there and when we were alone -both di and me got scolding why we were talking abt period so casually and in front of our brother...

we tried to explain but they are too stubborn,but one day we will change there opinion...

thats the reason I ask my doubts to u bcs I know if I will ask such things to them I am just going to get scolded....but I think I do need to know at least abt the basic bcs if some creep comments in future something rubbish ..how would I know abt his intention??

The biggest problem is that these topics aren't normalized. If they're talked about commonly without this scandalous aura, then no one would make a huge deal out of it.

The same thing happened with one of my BFFs. I can talk to him about literally anything, so meine ek din aise casually periods ke baare mein baat shuru kar di and he felt so grossed out about it. For us, it's our reality and something we have to live with everyday but inn ladko se toh suna bhi nahi jaata.

Ab parents ko kya hi kahe. They're also products of their time and the education they got. But you're right, jo bhi changes la ni hai, woh humein hi karni hai.

Also, this isn't to say that all men aren't comfortable talking about this. They're must be some that are. You just need to find the right people who are completely safe to talk to no matter what.

As for the creepy comments, it all depends on who's saying them and how. For example, a line said to you by a friend in a joking manner would come off as totally different by someone that you have never met. In these situations, just go with your gut. Even if you don't understand what was meant by it, if you feel uncomfortable, trust that instinct.
