Let's face it? What makes Sairat feel real? Their story? No, their imperfections.
It's been a while since I wanted to post this out.
We know how absurdly illogical certain part of stories are, but we are still hooked, because we feel they are real, they depict emotions that reach our heart and connects to us. Coming from Itv, such real connection wasn't expected.š
This is certainly not a Sai vs Virat battle. It's right versus wrong, and unfortunately both are right and both are wrong at this moment. Let's forget the logic for our own sanity, let's forget she could have done this, he could have done that. But, they haven't. They did what they felt was right at the moment. Don't we all do that?
Sai
As i said, that 24 carat gold hearted teen, is actually a guardian angel for Tai, i can't stop myself from appreciating the fact that she has actually stepped forward, against everyone, just for the sake of Devi's happiness. Not Devi's family, not her brother, but Sai did it. It was a decision taken in haste, and rash decisions have consequences, she knows it, yet she risked everything just so she could give what Tai deserves, what was snatched from her years ago, her happiness. Coming from her situation and age, it's a big step.
For someone who lost her father, she had been through a lot. Her life turned upside down, with the only support of a person she didn't entirely know. She landed up in a family with no freedom. Her life had vanished, she now relies and trusts one person to be there for her, but she has risked that too, because she understands that what she is doing, is right. Again yes, haste decision, but not entirely wrong.(ITV effect: heroine humesha sahi hoti hai re ) She didn't do certain things that we expected her to do, but again she is flawed too, like all of us. She has taken some wrong decisions, but with right intentions.
Virat
That guy had a lot on his plate, it's always an emotional roller coaster ride for him. I feel sad to think that whenever he is actually happy, something or the other goes wrong. He is emotionally disturbed, and desperately needs to be understood, but he has been so blinded by the "achaai" of his family from the time he is born, he won't be able to think anything that would break that image. Sort of flawed, yes. But not exactly, no one will want to believe anything against the house, the family, he has been living in for more than 26-27 years. It will always be like I know more about my family. He will need to be given proofs to make him believe, but such proofs aren't available. So for now, he can't even think that Tai was wronged by his family, being defensive and getting mad at Sai is justified at this moment.
It's justified for a guy to get mad, if his sister, who is mentally unwell, vanishes, and is being married off to a person, who according to his "super" investigation(ITV error: no proper investigationš) is wrong. He didn't wonder about what neighbors said, about everything and everyone being fake, because he is more of a brother now, again he is flawed too, like all of us. He is on a protect mode right now.
For every Sai's wrong, it's Virat's right and for every Virat's wrong, Sai's right. Sai ki jahan galti wahan Virat sahi, aur Virat ki jahan galti wahan sahi, they need a common ground for both to be sahi.š
It's unfair to defend one and offend another, for they have equal share in all this ruckus. š
