Maami's love for Raavi

Maami is selfish and insensitive and sometimes downright evil, but one good thing about her is her motherly love for Raavi. Right from childhood, Maami has truly considered Raavi her own and her emotions and reactions when it comes to Raavi are so genuine, unlike her manipulations with Anita pre-leap. In the pre-leap epi where she bursts out calling the child an orphan, Maami immediately regrets it and is genuinely upset with herself.

The current wedding track is so far the only point in the whole show where I'm actually liking Maami as a person. She can't stand to see her child so broken, and I find that pure, selfless bond beautiful for a person like her. She would do anything for Raavi, even swallow her pride and beg to Suman - that girl is the only person who has her unconditional affection ❤️

So truee..her affection is so genuine and she really loves raavi...her concern with getting Raavi married to Shiva and also how she wasn’t concerned with getting pandya store or whatever like she was manipulating anita, she genuinely wants the best for Raavi and is really worried for her.

Totally agree! I think Maami, for all her faults, is such a nuanced character because you can truly see how much she loves Raavi and how much she's ready to sacrifice to make her happy.

She was willing to stand up to her husband for Raavi to have the choice to say no to Shiva and to take Raavi away even if it meant that they would be humiliated in Somnath again.

I really have enjoyed this shade of Maami!

So true.

Raavi is hilarious with her Massima.

Also how she cutely denied kicking shiva out of the House while Haldi

she doesn’t give in to Maamis evil plans, hope that continues

Such a nuanced character she is. Also her banters with Shiva just can't be overlooked. Is it only me who looks forward to a good progression in their relationship as well now? All credit goes to the actress who switches from being vile to lovely to funny so effortlessly! 👏 Her character is well layered just like Dhara's MIL. Both these actresses are real bombs!

It would be great to see their equation improve over time. She is indeed a wondeful actor, she displays the different gradients of Maami so well. Same for the actor playing Suman, simply brilliant she is! I was amazed by her acting in the pre-leap epis, how talented she must be to pull that off... the lisp, that half open lip, the stutter and still crystal clear dialogue delivery in character, truly applause worthy.

Aye, MamiKiBenKiBeti(Sorry, I couldn't resist😂😂)!!

I have enjoyed it too. Hope she doesn't go back to how she was pre-leap.

Agree with everyone here. She loves Raavi like her own daughter and her happiness for her is utmost. She still doesn't feel like that for Anita as she's trying to hitch her up with any guy. Raavi's lucky to have that kind of love! :)
