Exactly. Malini's recent behavior with Imlie has proven that she never really cared for Imlie beyond doing "ehsaans" on her in order to prop up her own image in front of Adi or the family. She was happy to do things for Imlie when Adi wasn't giving Imlie importance....but the moment Adi started showing care/concern for Imlie, Malini's first reaction is envy and then trying to put down Imlie.....her actions in this epi proved that she ultimately did always consider Imlie a servant that she was doing favors on by helping her study etc.....Imlie was never given that actual respect/status in Malini's eyes....it was all just for show.

That does have a point maybe it was that only ke she saw me like this and this shouldn't have been the case and embarrament main na nikla kuch but it was still unfair to poor imlie having to hear a bhashan and adi koi token hi expression hi dikha dete ke you are feeling bad for her and not for you 😆

Btw did anybody else find it funny and intresting ke ghusse main malini didi forgot her manners and called adi tum kyon bhaithe ho instead of her usual aap kyon bhaithe hain ..I found that 🤔🤨 am not sure if it was a blooper and they never got her to do a retake or it was subtly thrown in to shoe she really lost her mind there

LOL I did notice it on first watch but mujhe blooper lagaa rather than Malini changing the way she calls Adi.....haha seemed more like Mayuri forgot the "aap" in that scene for once and director also didn't correct it.

Malini didi ka meltdown was apparent in many other scenes too toh yeh thoda kam register hua😆

As for Adi ka embarrassment....lol yeah that is the only explanation that I can kinda buy....it's still unfair to Imlie obviously but it makes more sense to me than the theory that Adi turned away cuz he couldn't bear Malini insulting Imlie and Imlie ki kasam stopped him😆.....it's more Adi-like to be debilitated by his own frustration/embarassment to not even manage to open his mouth when needed😆.....he looked tortured there like he can't face Imlie after what she just witnessed....lol

Her expression in the precap just makes me so sad for her....Imagine, after what she just had to witness - chaahe Adi uncomfortable tha with Malini hugging him, which isn't really the point......us visual ke hurt and pain ke baad bhi, then the extended denigration session from DIDI ke baad bhi where patidev stayed mute, yeh expectation hai ki IMLIE khud ko sambhaal le and Babusahib ke questions ka answer de.....lol.

How on earth do they expect us to feel bad for anyone other than Imlie in this scenario is beyond me😆

Re Aditya: It is amazing how irrational they make him at times, especially when it comes to his decision making abilities where relationships are concerned. For the heck of it, Imlie should actually say Yes, let’s go ahead and burn the world down by telling the truth. Tab bhi kuch karega nahin. Unless he’s backed into a corner by Malini or circumstance he’s not going to do jack.

I do not like these switches they’re trying to pass of as his guilt. Remorse is one thing, not sticking to what he has decided as a finality is another.

Poor Imlie having to decide it for him is just plain torture. And why should she? Defend toh kiya nahin kal aur upar se visuals bhi aise mil gaye ki koi bhi confuse ho jaaye. She’s just 19 after all. Itne crossed signals toh kisi ko bhi paagal banake chhod de.

He did .. and i hope he shows that ache se maafi maange. That does have a proper point woh vachan wala toh mujhe bhi samjh nahi aaya tha ..this is more in line with adi ke jab he feels extra embarrassed and weighed down by guilt he doesn't know what his instant reaction should be at times caz that guilt numbs his brain a bit.

Finally got around to watching today's episode. I think I am in minority here, I didn't feel the episode as bad as some of you felt, may be my expectations were too low or I am being way too practical. Will start with things I liked

T's getting on how long Anu will take to create a scene was hilarious. Finally I can relate them to real people.. Till now they were too good and naive to be true 😉

Adi's whole sulky mood and dressing down of Malini in front of everyone 👏. Malini madam, when you can wash dirty laundry before others in the family except others to do it as well.

The Pooja and pandit's prediction are just blah.. May be they will use it to as a flashback in future. The small nuance that I liked is a sulking Adi looking at Imlie and even though Imlie was feeling bad, she nodding to him with a smiling face that she is ok.(I bet both are recollecting their Pooja in PD)

Next is the episode fav, Malini showed her true colors in this scene. She was all shocked that Adi sat on the floor to have food but she didn't even ask Imlie why she is sitting there or asked her to come join the family at the dinner table. I wonder where Imlie bas her food every day in T's house??

Now, coming to the most contentious part of the episode...

Malini finally asked all the right questions, I was like Thank God she is at least trying to confront the situation. These two were in relationship for 7 years and married for 4-5 months, so anyone hugging their husband is very natural. He wasn't comfortable with it but he did try to console her in his way, then comes Imlie and they were caught in an awkward situation. He stayed quite because of his guilt and ashamed of being caught in that situation and she just made a generic statement telling Imlie that she should have knocked the door. Then Malini asked why she brought the lassi and Adi's answering instead of Imlie irked her. She is shown thinking and I bet she is jealous of Imlie getting attention from adi and she is not, even though she is the wife and she snapped and tried to show Imlie her place. We are seen Adi doing the same to Pari is couple of occasions, and we were all fine with it and cheering for Adi. I personally didn't find this situation any different. As soon as Malini told her to knock in future, Imlie told her she would never come in between anyone, bhool kar bhi nahi and left. It was just couple of statement and response back and I didn't think Adi could have responded to either of them.. I felt very very bad of Imlie, poor girl, what all she js made to go thru at this young age.Want to give her a tight hug. 🤗

I didn't have any problem with Adi in today's episode, but if he doesn't tell something to Malini in today's episode after Imlie left, then I will have a big problem with him. As per the precap looks like his having a conversation with Imlie 👍🏼

I wonder what made them leave without Malini... I am having my hopes on that missing link.

LOL I can't speak for others and their extrapolations but I can clarify a few things from my perspective:

1) The issue never was about whether Adi-Malini can hug😕😆.....that misses the whole point of this thread by a mile.

2) Malini asked the right questions? REALLY?😆.....The right question should have been to ask him again where he was the 4 days that he still isn't answering for....the questions she asked him instead here were all about GUILT TRIPPING .....a desperation to cling to him shown both physically and emotionally as she was literally trying to WILL him into becoming the Adi who groveled in front of her......lol these are the right questions? Or are are these just the usual antics to try to PAPER over their problems, never REALLY communicate and just somehow "solve everything" with one hug again....THAT'S how Malini's mind actually works....GHANTA right questions.

3) Malini telling Imlie not to interfere between pati-patni is obviously not in the same zone as Adi telling Pari not to interfere cuz Pari knows the full truth and tries to deliberately interfere between Adi-Imlie when Adi tells him to back off.....Imlie was not trying to deliberately interfere, she herself tries to not come between them and still Malini tried to "show her her place".....so I'm at a loss for how the two things are being compared. 😕

Yes malini was being clingy as opposed to getting to the root cause of his absence for 4 days. Her behavior with imlie during the lassi scene was in line with her building resentment for adis care/concern for imlie egged on by her chudail mataji. It was expected but was totally unjustified and downright cruel given the kind of relationship that malini had seemed to establish with imlie , saying they are sisters and all. Now we know all that was dikhawa subconsciously to try to fit into the husbands family and to endear herself more to adi. She has an unhealthy attachment to him and is looking to run away from facing the facts. She ideally should have had a private showdown with him and demand to know the truth. I for one am pissed off with didis behavior towards imlie. What will she do when she knows that imlie had to forgo her haq towards adi to save her didis marriage?

I didn't find Millani at the very dark side on the nock door thing, I can totally understand her reaction here 🙈

She is already frustrated and don't know what is happing, her relation is on it is way to be broken, her husband had change without any reason, he is not showing any affection toward her for more than 2 weeks, she is already jealous from Imlie and her mother words still alive in her mind! So once Imli come all of that has just bomb on her face 💔

I really felt bad for both today! 🙈

Adi has to MANUP, period!

Why he needs Imlie conformation to do so?

It is not fair to Milani , if he cant have to proceed a normal life with her anyway! And he don't love her anymore, why he keep her by his side! Just send her free!
