Anokhi's 'kis kis ko chup karayenge hum'
The highlight of the episode. She said "hum" instead of "aap" or "mein". I love the fact that they acknowledge the journey they have travelled so far.
Anokhi is even accepting to the consequences that might get thrown their way. And the silver lining here is, instead of asking herself or any third person, she let that cover of doubt down in front of him only, with conviction and confidence.
She is not scared to address the elephant in the room but at the same time she is worried about the consequences. The consequences which not only she will suffer but he will too.
The fear, the protectiveness, the concern- these six words indicated them all.
But then abruptly he sneezed!
And I could not take it as their only way to cut the topic and I couldn't help but read between the lines.
He sneezed.
He was listening. He was attentive. But then he didn't care.
The consequences faded into thin air as she started taking care of him. And he agreed to it. He enjoyed her care, her concern. No matter how many times he said that he wanted to leave, you could read him wanting to stay back with greater need.
And this will happen. He won't give up ! Even if every force starts to work against their direction, he will not care. He - a modern day mysogenist will not succumb to the walls of patriarchy and will challenge the social norms to keep her to himself ! He will end up fighting his own beliefs to reach her.
And the mysogeny will smirk back at him, brutally and heartlessly.
And amidst this I could only smile, my heart melting like anything!
READING THIS analysis MELTED MY HEART !!!
