I think he'll fight UP TO THE POINT of hearing about her getting married to someone else. because if she makes that choice, then there isn't anything more he can do. i can see him trying to accept it but also burning and not being able to take it. we see that when he was in the police station he always just leaves whenever acp/anokhi are getting too close.
