Okay I was reading about the language of love discussion in the EDT and here's my two cents on it😆
I agree with Juwie, that his language of love is physical touch because he is not a man of words and expressing himself in actions comes naturally to him and we have also noticed that he fidgets when he is awkward or anxious that is a physical manifestation of his emotions in the same way he cannot control his actions and touches when he is overwhelmed with love and care. This only happens around Anokhi because he has not let anyone into his space and between them he is the one conscious of their touches "mujhe koi shauk nahi hai tumhe touch karne ki".
In fact his jealousy and "tang to kiya na" to Kanchan stems from the fact that Anokhi was okay with Ahir touching her and mind you these were not casual touches like a friendly hug or a shake hand these were touches of concern, care and familiarity whether it was wiping off the chai or holding her hand to write. I think this is why we as viewers were also confused with Ahir's behaviour and wondered if he is being creepy or if they were overdoing it to induce jealousy etc.
I think this is what bothered Shaurya the most because like Ash pointed out only Anokhi gets liberties with him and here Anokhi was okay with the ACP's touches. In Anokhi's defence she probably didn't feel anything at all because she is not aware of these touches like she gets aware of Shaurya's because his proximity makes her nervous.
I think Anokhi's language of love is also physical touch (we need more to confirm this however) She initiates touches with Shaurya and as far as I have noticed he is the only person she takes the liberty to do so, I think it comes so naturally to her that she ends up breaking whatever weak boundaries are there between them 😆
Even the upcoming towel scene, can you imagine her doing it for anyone else stuck in her room? Let's for a moment imagine Ahir there, if he didn't know how to dry himself I can imagine her giving him instructions on how to do it 🤣 but not wiping it for him like she is doing it for Shaurya.
Having said this, words of affirmation is also their language of love! Shaurya craves it from Anokhi in fact she is the only person he wants to hear it from because he knows she is very vocal about her thoughts and what she thinks about him matters a lot to him! On the other hand, Anokhi grew up in a environment where her father himself kept criticising her very birth forget acknowledging her with love or pride. Same goes for Raja. This is why her already budding feelings must have escalated after the acknowledgement of her struggle and achievement on the bridge and in the car. And Shaurya's opinion of her will always matter to her because she already put him on a pedestal (in terms of admiration not superiority),that's the reason she is not able to think beyond "PS" as a nick name, she cannot come up with funny names (at least so far) because he is "Shaurya Sir" and the respect comes not because of his position but because of the admiration she personally has for him. His virtues shine for her despite his vices disappointing and hurting her sometimes. Hence Aastha's "Shikayat mei bhi pyaar hai". You only have complaints from the person you have expectations from.
I really need to learn to write briefly 😆
