20 days of work would be 15L a month, and 1.8cr a year. Do it for 6 years, and even accounting for taxes, that's enough to settle and live a comfortable life in Mumbai. A 3BHK (1200-1500 square foot types) would probably cost them around 3-4 crore in the suburbs.

Secondly, this is also EK, who (supposedly) doesn't take well to desertions of any sort.

Also, from MC's point of view, age isn't exactly on her side, and not everyone would get JW type Beyhadh roles. Reckon this will be her last major daily serial. The actress playing Meera for instance ( a good friend of MC's), is only 3 years older than her.
