What's up with Anokhi? Is she getting used to Shaurya's outbursts? ? - Page 2

From the time Anokhi came back, I’m not able to connect to both their characters. Shaurya is now neither a professor nor a man in love. He looks like a confused soul who doesn’t know what to do. And Anokhi has forgotten how she used to stand up for her rights & respect. It was a beautiful apology which Shaurya gave to Anokhi but why is there no character progress after that ? There were some eye locks between then in college which has been so difficult to digest. Reema says one word & Anokhi fell...where is the feel on her side ? Not sure why they want to rush into love. And now we are again back to Shaurya stamping his rights on her. Sorry for the ranting.

Tell me about it. Anokhi seemed to be justifying Shaurya's behaviour today. Love seems to have taken the spunk out of her. The way Shaurya threatened to defame Ahir and the way he shouted at Anokhi was so uacceptable. I wanted her to shut him up or stomp off. But none of that happens. She eats soup inattentively and recalls Reema's words. Does she really want a jealous lover with anger management issues? Perhaps she is so used to seeing such people at home that her expectations are not too high.

I am so much wanting to see her reaction when she realizes that all his outbursts are due to his jealousy and insecurities!

Would like most people find that cute on iTV, or take that as a sign of warning and Run away like real life? Shaurya at the moment comes out to be a monster! I cannot tolerate such things coming from the 'male lead' without being confirmed as irrational behavior that show would deal with sensitively.

Imagine for a second, Ahir was the lead actor and writers had provided stronger background about him, versus Shaurya as some additional character - would it be considered absolutely fine?

But I won't blame "love" for it because it is suppose to make you stronger and I won't entirely brush it off under the rug of her confusion either.

Because being confused with emotions is one thing but losing your clarity in general is another.

No matter what happens tomorrow and even if they show that Anokhi is angry with Shaurya and the hostel thing happens but it won't alter the way she was succumbed to silence at the hotel.

Maybe she was trying to process and was too appalled at his anger but when she can come forward to stop the fighting then I don't understand why didn't she speak for herself and gave Sharya back, there and then when he shouted at her like that.

The nikki I know would have done that.

So I think it's writers who are messing up with her character. The whole week was such a drag fest and no matter how much we try to side with them that it was all build up for the upcoming tracks and everything but most of scenes were added unnecessary. I don't have problem with other actors getting screen space but at the cost of losing connect with the characters ? ! And that too with the leads?!

I hope it gets better tho! HOPE is the keyword.

@bold - the moment is lost... I say that the writers are causing this as effect of love is because real Nikki would have been the one in @purple...i miss her so much!

Her reaction was blah and Shaurya's behaviour was kind of in sync with his character but he did go over board and so did Ahir. Shaurya and Ahir really needs to cool down and act rationally rather than just attacking each other.... Shaurya had always and always lived with the pride of his money and name... But the whole point is that these things cannot get him affection from that one person from whom he is craving.

Given the kind of silence Anokhi brought to the situation, I have a feeling we will see 180 degree change in Anokhi's characterization with Shagun who would be burning with jealousy and throwing tantrums.... Not the focused one... As much as I would like to be proven wrong, I am kind of versed with this PH and ITV in general.

I mentioned in one post earlier also we are not seeing proper growth of Anokhi character nowdays most of the powerful lines are given to Shaurya .Hope her character do not suffer because of love she should not remain as a showpiece for Shaurya romance only in future.🤢

True that bro.. She is becoming typical itv fl for sure, she has lost her mojo. What attracted many of us to the show was Nikki's spirit and spunk. I hate that cvs are making her fall in love through Reema's words, itni jaldi. I wish they had taken a long time, till she finishes studies and chooses a career, to make her realise her feelings and that would have given us nice, angst filled moments from Shaurya too. No, they are in a hurry to force the family drama down our throats. Please bring back the patakha Nikki soon.

She is the same girl who gave back to his jiju in Kapurthala... She managed finding her own way out from her wedding... She fought and won every fight...

Ever since she has come to Chandigarh... Her dependency on Shaurya started increasing for technically her every fight - Ragging case to begin with, when she decided to fight the wrong, she needed Shaurya to help her bring out the truth, during riots she was upset Shaurya left her whereas she is the one who just left him to fight on her own, goons case, rustication... For every damn thing she needs Shaurya now... But atleast she had continued putting across her valid arguments and made him shut up most of the time when he was out of line.

Today she seemed to have even lost her voice... What the heck is happening to Anokhi?

I am very upset about this. I expected Anokhi to be be more mature.... I wanted her to be little pissed and angry at the thought of Shaurya's advances after all that he had said and done.. But to be fair, Shaurya has always been by her in all her troubles. So, she could possibly feel assured that someone so capable is interested in her..
