Specifically remember a media report back then to the effect that it wasn't a hit..Otoh , it had created a good enough buzz quite like a hit does..Especially music..Guys were humming it..I guess lasses too..

I don’t remember the story line for this movie. It seemed like an innocent love story movie from what I remembered few bits, diya looked beautiful in the movie. Kriti is pretty but of course not drop dead gorgeous like diya mirzs. Ar Rahman music is amazing, I think he composed for this movie

This was not Kabir Singh- it only falters in the climax with Reena falling in love with a liar but she is still shown to be a strong and dignified woman with agency and a voice unlike Preeti. While parts of RHTDM may have been problematic - it was nowhere near close to KS
