(I believe a woman can manage both household and career. If a man does not have to choose, why should a woman do so? And yes, if Bon is a child who does not need to do these things and only focus on studies, that should have been taken care of previously. Literally showing Bon as the woman who is avval in both household and studies till now in a positive light and suddenly trivializing housework and portraying it in a negative light does not makes sense. Housework is not a weak work, it takes guts and strengths to manage a household. Women who are simply housewives are equally strong woman and this too represents women empowerment.)

cant agree more that blushing smile on Ani's face although for a split second was spot on..for a moment they both seemed to forget its a play and then back on track in the next second..😂

Regarding Manorma and her proud lines.. Haven't you all felt the characterization of Manorama itself is a paradox..a total contradiction for the then society.

Her family is not like Mini who educated her (no doubt this is kaka's correspondence and that was Binoy's), still she doe snot know basic pooja paad and cooking skills, which was mandatory for women of that age and era. she might be a focused women still hail from a normal conservative family. For Bonditha being kid she doesnot know all was fine. But it looked forced on Manorama , a forceful scene to make her look incapable in front of Bondita. God knows how and from whereshe got inspirations and made connections to become krantikari and managed her missions by being away from her house. No dots are getting connected

The sad but bitter truth

Dil jeet liya Faja Kaka also said something really bad when Bon slapped Ani accidentally. The bottom line is no matter what she does she will remain his bahu.
