(I believe a woman can manage both household and career. If a man does not have to choose, why should a woman do so? And yes, if Bon is a child who does not need to do these things and only focus on studies, that should have been taken care of previously. Literally showing Bon as the woman who is avval in both household and studies till now in a positive light and suddenly trivializing housework and portraying it in a negative light does not makes sense. Only if Bon understands how things she has earned in last few months be it Kaka's love and admiration, trusting her with keys (which is a bit stupid considering it didn't take Sampoorna a lot to misplace a few keys), are transferable.

In one day, Manorama earned everything by virtue of being old enough to understand responsibility of marriage and family

Manorama and Bon's life and duties as Bahu are disposable, they aren't really required, tomorrow Ani can marry one more woman and Kaka will accept her too

This is why Ani wants Bon to earn something which can't be taken away from her, Bon's identity, her education, her knowledge and Same goes for Manorama, Anyone can do Pooja and cook but not everyone can put her life at risk for her country

I liked Ani saying Bon should focus on her education and Manorama should focus on her mission

The difference between treatment of men and women is that none expects Ani to be a good husband or son, but Bon has to be an ideal wife who can do everything. Study and handle responsibilities of her house
