I don't think she's trying to harm Riddhu because of what happened in her past (unless somehow Riddhu found out about it which... how???) She wants Riddhu gone because Vansh is prioritizing her over everything which is no good for them as a whole unit.

If you look at it in terms of Kingdoms, you're only worthy of sitting at the throne when you think of everyone under your protection, not just one person.
