Can't we just appreciate his acting and character? I mean the new fans have absolute zero idea about the show, but ready to ship Dev Babu RKP with Amrit, like why do they need to ship him with anyone. We have Radha without a ship but we all loved her character and Pranali's portrayal. Even Gaurav and Jeet won our heart by their performance but we never actually support Farooq and Abrar character. If my fav actor is playing a grey shaded or negative character I will appreciate his acting but will never justify his character but some fans even without knowing anything about the character are ready to ship him with anyone just because its played by their favorite actor.

I dont understand that logic either, and completely agree that we should understand the sensitivity of the fandom and enter with a clear mindset. But we do not have much control, given that since the promo was marketed as a new story with him being parallel ML for GG, alongside ZK; they are thinking of it as S2 where they feel their fav should not be underrated given his past shows. I get their apprehensions with respect to injustice meted out by other PHs, but then openly stating they care about his SS with her even before his entry, that is a place where all of us need to draw the line coz even here, some phenomenal actors are not getting their due in the current storyline, have been killed off or dissappeared into thin air, and a lot have already quit the show since past week.

With respect to the cast and crew, yes, we may dislike Mogar, Abrar, Bhanu Veerji, Faruq, even KB, Iqbal, Brij, Lalaji, Rajrani and Zaheeda for sometime due to the basic plot of the show, but not once has it crossed the majority of KUDCA fandom's minds to not appreciate them for the brilliant acting they do that makes them seem grey onscreen. Pranali, Anchal, Gracy, Zaan, Shagun ~ whom we call our Fab 5 onscreen have their individual spaces in our hearts even outside of their onscreen couples because we followed them as both. Everyone has had their share of good and bad moments and to a large extent we have stuck to criticising the writing. Ever since past 2 weeks however, I am seeing cracks in our own fandom too even before KJ was involved with respect to people choosing camps ~ AmDheer OR VashMay + Radha and then some bashing the other without reason for their favs too.

The most current one being the stupid Bhanu/Uday comparison to incite fan wars on why did Uday not save Amru and help Randheer?

- Because my dearest ppl, writers did not require him in those scenes.

~ Because according to storyline, Baigs stopped him.

- Because they wanted to boost Randheer in that scene.

- Because Uday is now a father and his family needs to be priority to him too, realistically too in that context people HAD to leave their loved ones 🙈

- Because Amrit could have logically also left Lahore in a realistic scenario coz prior to that she also did not know where the others were till she saw them near the truck adda.

It hurts me to no end to see this toxicity that has entered the fandom because honestly, I loved each and every character of this show when it started out and was hoping for better for each of them, and this fandom was so supportive and such a delight to be in, and now I dont even know which side to stand coz fans also got partitioned due to injustice meted out for trps that never came. We are so emotionally attached to them, it broke hearts to see a messed up plot play out after some meaningful deaths and the Partition, key highlight of the show to become redundant in the drama. So many fans have already left the show in dissappointment and others will also be discouraged given that the new fandom is watching only for their fav. Where does our old cast who have put their blood, sweat and tears in driving this for 2 months go then?

Appreciation based on favoritism incites wars, creates dissent in fandom and also puts down morale of the real people involved who might have a great working relationship but get dragged into the chaos then. Do not have the patience to deal with this new FAVS ONLY fandom.

Gals, do come here to support the original cast of the show as very soon the atmosphere is going to change here. We need to be united to show love and support for our Fab 5 and also whoever gets to live (Whether Baigs or Mogar, KB and Bhanu Veerji 🤔).
