Just when one thought Dawaat e Ishq and kill dil were not disastrous enough

she bounced back with;

Meri Piyari Bindu (8cr lifetime -pre covid)

Namastay England (9cr lifetime..diwali release..pre covid)

Jabariya Jodi (9cr lifetime pre covid) ..

Not to forget with highly criticized performances

and when one thought this is beyond falling any further..she bounced back again with the following ;

Girl on the train ..severely panned..imdb of 3.9

Sandeep aur Pinky faraar..imdb of 4.4

Saina..imdb of 2.6

the lifetime collections of the last 2 together do not even reach 1cr..which even with covid restrictions is embarassing..considering saina was a sports biopic on a famous person

with this filmography where baring the 1st 2 years..she has had outright flops except a Golmaal 4 and kesari (which many forget she was even there and any actress her place..result be the same..since it had akshay and ajay doing all the heavy lifting) ..she is still getting movies..is this not as unfair as those who are bashed way more harshly than her? how is she still getting movies?..and who would want to invest a penny on her after such an abysmal track record..

Sandeep and Pinky released when?

God knows what happened. All her contemporaries went on to be more successful. I don't think she is that bad. Meri Pyari Bindu has managed to earn a very niche cult following. Other movies have been awful. When was the last time she was good onscreen?

It's difficult for me to imagine how there used to be serious competition between Alia, Parineeti and Shraddha. Parineeti really fell behind. I couldn't watch more than few minutes of girl on the train. Not all her fault but she definitely wasn't a positive reason to watch the movie.

I liked Dawaat e Ishq, but yes that spark and freshness she had when she first started is gone. She used to be super excited about her projects. These days I like athiya shetty more and I didn’t even like athiya when she started her career.

Does she have any line up for future?

She seems so stale these days, not even having that charisma which some non actors have that pulls people to theatres. Hope she reflects on the same. And she should never work with arjun ever again.

some 2 bit roles like kesari..she plays ranbir's love interest in animal..which works best for her sanity and producer's money

She lost all her confidence😔.She would have been at top if she did Piku and didnt take that useless break.Wonder who was advising her that time as she had told lately?I really feel for her.Loved her onscreen and always will have a soft corner for her no matter what❤️
