Genuinely thought he was trying ask her on a date (without realising it himself) and also buy time before they got to Chandigarh.

Wo bool gaya ki ghar par sab log uska intezar kar rahe hain dinner ke sath. He would rather spend time with Anokhi instead.

Bechara his face when Anokhi said no it's a waste of time haha. And then having to offer her his 'special khana' protein bar instead and didn't get any himself )😂😂
