I started watching the show few hours ago and with only the first two episodes, you can see how brutal the impact of this aazadi will be on the characters alone. Of course the reality has been harsh as well and both countries feel the implications of the divide till this day!

I really do like shows which address partition because regardless of politicians' interests, the fact that there is a common cultural thread amongst both the countries is undeniable. It's a tragedy how much British colonial propaganda has fuelled hatred in name of nationalism amongst people of both the countries.
