Idk too much about Hindu culture and their rituals, but considering how milk is considered to be a sacred element in India, it has to be a very important event. Maybe some purification ritual to cleanse him of all the negative things that have been going on lately?

Typically, yes. But I've seen people do this for symbolic reasons as well in other films and TV. So the person will be alive but to the family, they are officially dead.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. It's just a purification ritual to cleanse him of negative energies. It's like when you would hold a havan or paath at home when things start going wrong, or just want your home and the people dwelling within to be blessed. It could very well just be that.

Although, since this is Mafia Daadi that we're talking about, she might take things to the extreme.

It's just that ever since OTT started , Dadi has been really hostile to Vansh. So now I find it unbelievable that she would do anything for his wellbeing. 💔

Yeahh, I get that too. I can see the chances of her using this ritual as a way of hurting him more than it being for his benefit.

According to the precap of 216, Vansh shot Riddhima (maybe it's fake) so I think that's why this oldie is doing Abhishek of Vansh as he killed so called traitor of their Khandan.
