Kanchan is exaggerated - Page 3

I think Kanchan's character is like that. Remember she accompanied Gayathri to visit Aastha in the hospital lying to Devi & she was very sweet and respectful towards Astha too. She need not have done that. I think she has never met Astha before, only heard of her and developed admiration but still she risked the ire of the Clan to visit her.

So I guess she is the type who easily likes others if they are good even if she is not very familiar with them. Thats why she is talking to SS freely and also has a good impression about Nikki.

Honestly I think they just needed someone to guide him in the moment and they didn't find anyone better. I also don't know where Kanchan randomly appeared from but honestly I appreciate at least that we get a little reprieve from the negativity. Given that Shaurya stood up for her a few times, (stepped in with Kitty Bebo, tried to stop them from being thrown out, helped her when she wanted to go dance with Yash) there is somewhat of a foundation there so it's not totally out of the blue. But yes, she was definitely shown more reserved but I think both her and Gayatri are coming out of their shells as they witness what Anokhi/Aastha are doing outside the walls of the Sabherwal house.

I said this elsewhere but I also think in the moment, Shaurya is truly so desperate but much like Anokhi, he also doesn't have any friends that he can rely on or talk to. Kanchan is the closest person who is willing to lend a nonjudgemental ear and he is jumping on the opportunity. Because in Monday's episode we saw her willing to leave him alone but he was the one that stopped her when he mentioned that he didn't want Anokhi to leave. So I really do think that she overheard him on Monday and sees that he is affected by Anokhi (much like the rest of the family) and rather than discourage it, she is encouraging it. Given that he was willing to share with her, she is probably taking the chance to tease him a little. And for Shaurya he just needs the validation/affirmation because somewhere deep down he also knows that Anokhi isn't just a student and I don't think he hates to hear these things from Kanchan, even if he tries to brush them off, because it makes him feel good to have someone else say the feelings he can't necessarily express himself.

She's always been shown as somewhat of a busybody who was snooping around the house and listening to conversations between Shaurya and Devi or Shaurya and others so now it's just the time that she's stepping in. As random as the development is of their sudden close bond, if we can at least see it as a bit of positivity in that house, I'll take it. Otherwise Tejvilok are scaring me without some countervailing force.

Seriously!! I think exactly same. How come they naver talked informally for 70+ episodes and behaving like this. How come she declare it a love story or anything when she have not even for once met Anokhi. More than her it is Shaurya's behaviour which is unusual. He do not converse this way to her in initial episodes. Now suddenly she is his guiding light.

There should have been some build up in previous episodes to digest this kind of thing.

Atleast he found someone in that madhouse that he can talk to.

Also this is probably the first time Kanchan has seen him like this hence she came to a conclusion also neither did Shaurya deny it nor got angry at her.

Kanchan is just too bored in Sabharwal house and needs something to entertain her. Shaurya's behaviour appears very unusual to her and made her assume that he is definitely falling in love. She is like that overzealous friend in college who would in her mind hook you with every other guy you happen to become friendly. (I don't know if you guys had such friends, I definitely had my fair share)

I know such person, not even my bestest, and I hate that thing about her... Being a friend, there is a boundary to be maintained when it comes to friendship and personal matter... Like best friends would know such boundaries and friends would try to come in... 🤔 that's my real. Life ka ranting.. About Kanchan... Oh yes, she needs entertainment

😆Replace kanchan with shaurya anokhi ki kahani.n that's about it. The story has been like that..koi bhi kuch bhi kabhi bhi achanak se.karta hai. Suddenly aastha lost her mind around shaurya , causing a series of events called "aastha mam aastha mam aastha mam". Suddenly shaurya lost his mind around anokhi which culminated into "the three words " from "ur characterless. " ....Suddenly anokhi's fav person switched from aastha mam to shaurya 😆

Right now , without thinking much about whether kanchan knows shaurya as much , I am happy there is someone who he talks to. Kanchan probably jumped the gun to the three words but she knows that shaurya will never go that far for anyone..cmon it's never so difficult to spot someone who has fallen in love. Their whole attitude changes n it's never normal. It's obvious to guess.

I don't think Kanchan is exaggerated as a character and I'll tell you why

1) She always snoops around especially after Devi and Tej and eavesdrop on their convo and convey everything to Gayatri

2) She asked Gaytri about Shaurya's past and about Astha and how Devi had purposely kept Shaurya and Astha away from each other

3) She is witness to Shaurya's equation with Shagun and how it didn't affect him emotionally and how controlled he was around Shagun. Even after treating her badly he had no remorse and was aloof sending her back all their gifts exchanged.

4) Shaurya has always stood up for Kanchan and saved her from Devi ire

During the whole roti making incident when Bebo kitty where making fun of Kanchan he rubked them both

When Gaytri and kanchan were being thrown out of the Shaberwal house he stood up for them and told it was wrong

When Devi wanted to stop Kanchan from dancing publicly he saved her

When Kanchan was complaining about Bebo Kitty he stood up for Kanchan when Devi was insulting her

5) She was witness to the fact that Shaurya Bhaiya who never stood up against Devi and Tej called them out and stood up for Anokhi

She was witness to the fact that he didn't want Aokhi to get admission in SIAC so she was kind of shocked why would he stand up for her so vicariously.

Kanchan always wanted to make friends with Shaurya because he was one of the few sane voices in the house. She is already a fan of Astha Shaan Gayatri. She feels the rest are pathetic. She couldn't see how she could bond with Shaurya but she always wanted to.

When the opportunity finally came She asked Shaurya if he wanted to share anything with her. Knowing her gossipy nature he was reluctant. She even assured him she won't tell anyone. She didn't even with Gayatri who is the close person in this house she didn't share. She listened to him patiently and even pushed him to open up but when she thought he wouldn't she backed off. He was the one who seeked her advice seeing that she was a girl and wanted her perspective and she was more than happy because this was not the normal aloof Shaurya who was always angry but flustered and out of control Shaurya Bhaiya so she too tried to encash on that opportunity.

She is enjoying the fact that Shaurya Bhaiya is finally acting out acting free rather than the reserved person she was used to seeing him. He was rebellious and care free. The enemy state always provide arms and ammunition to the rebels of the opposition state to incite violence and instability. She feels only Shaurya has the guts to go against Devi and Tej in this house and she is helping him. She herself is a rebel against the stifling environment of Shaberwal house and didn't hesitate once before meeting Astha not knowing her. Her dialogues may have been OTT or the expression but it was not out of the blue.

Her dialogues esp her tone / excitement was lil OTT and that's why it felt forced/exaggerated

Her over excited tone made Shaurya look lil disinterested 😆
