The best part of the show was Feroze, the haunting OST, and Rumza chemistry. I hope they work together again. I have started watching Dil kiya Karey now, and for a change Feroze is playing a complete white male lead, uff itni khushi huya dekh ke ke I gulped two rasgullas in the name of my white hero .
I loved reading every word you wrote. I watched few episodes of this drama, and I loved Hamza too. When he married Rumi as a part of his revenge, I thought he'll treat her bad.. but he was so cute with her, he didn't hurt her , or behaved coldly ..I thought he is doing it to make her fall in love with him, only to break her after that.. but he didn't .. all what happened is just blackmailing Hamna, which was wrong of course, but the punishment which he got was too much. Rumi was very unfair with him.💔 He was hurt by her sister's betrayal. He wasn't in a good mental state , his accident left him broken for outside and inside.. but once true love happened to him, he became a different person. In fact he recovered from his heartbreak.

It just depends on ur tolerance of male, female interaction before marriage. It might not be bad for u but hanging in a pool with a non mehram is not socially acceptable in that country, also it is haram.

Personally I wouldn't hang out with a namehram. I'm relatively traditional.
However I find the expectations put on actresses / actors, re. their personal lives, a little ridiculous.
The very nature of their job requires them to get close to namehrams. They regularly do scenes holding the hands of namehrams, lying in the same bed, etc. People happily watch this, but then they get upset when they see them do the same things off-screen.
Obviously actors / actresses are not going to be religious. If they were they wouldn't have chosen acting as a profession.
Minal is fully clothed in that video. The only thing wrong in the video is that she's with a namehram, and that he is not wearing a shirt. But she's with a namehram in every single one of her dramas as well, so it's no more haram than what she does almost everyday in her job, and what the public happily watches.
To be honest I find Sarah & Falak's constant public displays of love more embarrassing than that video.
And there have been much worse displays in public by other actors / actresses (I remember being really shocked at a picture Mehwish Hayat put up where she's barely covered).
I don't like the Khan twins, but that video is no worse than what all the actors / actresses do in dramas.

You are right. However drama is exactly that, drama. They only do it for the job. I doubt many of them have actually intentions to do those things, it’s just required for the job. This case is different. They like each n the intention is there. Intentions matter a lot.
Other actors get criticized just as well on social media sites. However news publications don’t put articles on them cause, well minal is a lot more popular than them on the internet, n they will get clicks on it.

I disagree. It's a drama, but they are still touching and getting close to namehrams. God doesn't overlook it because it's 'a drama'. It's still haram. Which is why it makes no sense to be ok with it when it's on TV but get upset when it's their personal life.
In fact the dramas are worse because they're doing it for m.oney, and to entertain people. So they are explicitly choosing the dunya over deen. At least in their personal lives they intend to marry whoever they're getting close to.

He never had the intentions to hurt Rumi, he used to be so delicate with her from day 1, and slowly warmed up to her. He himself was unaware that he was in love with her and he was in denial because Humna's betrayal was destructive and neither she ever gave him an apology or closure nor did she own up tp her actions. Rumi was too full of herself, I felt like she always prioritized her decisions above everyone else's, she behaved so poorly with her mom upon her dad's illness, and then just after Rumza's wedding, she behaved so weirdly and poorly with both Humza and her dad when they came back from hospital, I mean I understand that she was being worried but well her behavior was problematic.
I agree on your last statement, Humza needed therapy after he suffered that breakdown and post his sever accident, Humna could have talked to his parents, her parents, she had so many ways to stop the mess, but all she did was cry and had a toffee in her mouth. Allah jane Humza ne kya dekha issme that he went batshit crazy after her for 4 years and then that self destruction, she does not even deserve two minutes of his attention, and he wasted 4 years .. LMAO 😆

I have just finished watching Ishqiya, only because Feroze was the lead. What a towering performance, he sold this sadistic and unfair story of a love lorn wicked and betrayed lover boy so well. At one point I was like, Mir Haadi was a better man minus the killing, Humza was just so on point with the ego and heart break. I really loved the way his character was solely about revenge, he did not want Humna back, but teach her how a betrayal feels like, and the indifference he always had in front of her post the breakup was so well played.
Let me start with the best, yes Humza it is, ruined by two women and both are blood related sisters 😆. He probably was so much about Humna, that he never saw that there are better women, infact more capable women around him. He deserved so much more, only if the way Humna betrayed him would have changed. His actions of blackmailing Humna, was to a point toxic and miserable, unless on his wedding day he tells Shariq that 'the worst is probably not watching the woman of his life marrying another man, but him sitting in the altar with another woman', oh boy that hurt, it was just a slight insight on how much broken he was. However, when he loves someone, he loves irrespective of the consequences, and that is what he did with Rumi too, the guilt, fear and helplessness to not lose her after realizing that he loved her more than anyone else. I hate the writers for the ending, it was biased and unfair, Humza was the only sane character albeit wrong, but his character had everything, growth, having a second chance, redemption, loss, and this character deserved a closure and instead they made him suffer for entire life. And worst is that they did it to justify the most hypocrite and unidimensional female lead Humna, WTF were these writers smoking? They thought ending the male lead in a tragic way would show women empowerment? Like really? Both the sisters were nuts, Humna, selfish and hypocrite, to even commit, she lied to Humza, broke him, almost killed him, she lied to he holier than thou yawn worthy husband, she lied to her sister and still she is the innocent one? WOW! As Humza said, his love was a joke for her and she did not even think once before betraying him the worst possible way, at least break up with him instead of getting marrying at his back, and these are educated modern women the writer justified? Rumi was another egoistic fool, her loved, obsession and everything for Humza was so weak that she did not even look at his eyes to see through him when he apologized, she was right in leaving him and mocking him, but as she said that she loved him, then wasn't that love good enough to compare Humza's actions and his confession? He told her that he loved her, and she was indifferent? Why, wasn't she ready to die with him, wasn't he worth of a second chance? Humza has always dealt with Rumi so delicately, that even if he was in denial of his love, it showed up in his actions, and how can all that be farce, when Rumi knows that whatever he felt for her must be genuine.
The show could be so good, about getting second chances, about redemption, about healing from past trauma, but it became a toxic saga of putting above hypocrite and spineless women above positivity. The message this show gave is the worst, WTF were the writers smoking by showing that Humza was worthless that any woman can come and ruin him 🤢. And Humna with her dud husband were the worst characters, so bland and dull. Humna only had 3 line sin all the 28 episodes " ji Azeem'', 'Please Humza aise maat karo', ' Abbu ke liye kiya', WTF again🤬, that is the female lead who was justified 🤢
The actors, especially Feroze and Hania were so beautiful, wonderful chemistry, their scenes were so refreshing and gave me so much hope for a happy ending but 💔. Feroze's hit streak should continue with KAM3, an actor like him deserves all the recognition, he is tailor made for these grey heroes onscreen. The woman who played Humna had the worst expression, and that made her character more annoying, but she was the central lead opposite Feroze and such toxic leads left a bitter taste at the show's end.

Feroze/humza was fabulous . Without a doubt . N rumi was fabulous too. I still have memories.of.both of them.staring at her portrait on the back of their wall lol I mean I never saw such scenes before between a husband and wife..the scene where he is.late.for the dinner , the day she sent him to the office, its so damn good. Plus his family was one the best I saw...rumi humza scenes were so so so refreshing ..bec nobody believed humza will be this good to rumi ..n rumi will turn him around..make.him fall.for her ..
N I can't believe it was the same writer who said "audience r bored with humza rumi n humna is weak...so. Humna should get justice " . N hence this kachra ending . ..they lost their minds after epi 14.or was it 16...plus what I read as the audience reaction..that the ending was justified bec the.premise of rumza marriage was a lie. That humza was in a position of power and he exploited a weak girl..that he was using rumi to take revenge from.humna. but nobody except the writer had anything to say in humnas defense except that she was socially awkward.
I so wish humza did the same to humna what alishba did to him. Humza should have told the truth to humnas husband and family after he woke up from.coma. afterall sach is sach.
They turned rumi into a hypocrite n alishba and humna had the last laugh. They said rumi couldn't forgive humza..why could she forgive humna then? I agree her behavior with her mom waS abnormal..as if her mom punched her husband in the heart. Punishment for humza should have meant punishment for humna too but aisa nai hua. Only humza and his family suffered and rumi turned robotic. They ruined a beautiful character by turning her egoistic and unforgiving in the end.
In the story which they presented , only humza was the one who stayed true to his character..passionate impulsive ..pyar kiya toh itni shiddat se..revenge liya toh shiddat se..nafrat ki shiddat se..he experienced love like.nobody else in the drama. He valued love like nobody else
His karma came.bk biting him , when alishba told the truth to rumi. But how could rumi forgive humna and not him.and why couldn't she see the honesty in his feelings ?
Itna bada kaunsa gunah tha ? Sidhiqui sahab died a natural death , jinke liye ye sab tamasha hua. Humna behen got her soulmate. N if rumi didn't know the truth she would be living a happy ever after life. Matlab he kept on blackmailing humna that he will tell the truth to everyone n with that truth humna ka kuch hua nai , ulta his life was ruined. Isn't that bullshit ? They could have opted for an open ending where rumi doesn't forgive both of them and goes somewhere far. He keeps repenting with the hope that rumi will come to him one day . Humna dafa ho jaati kahi bhi. At least we would be happy that they loved each other truly but destiny pulled them.apart.
Sometimes I think, what will.happen if humna actually told him the truth, about her impending marriage to azeem ? Will he be held responsible for her father's heart attack? Would humna continue to love him or cheat on her husband ? Would he pursue a married humna like Sultan in deewangi ? Would azeem divorce her ? Was humna that majboor to not tell the truth to rumi and spoil her life ?

ohh god kitni galiyan diye the hum log
poor hamza & rumi🥺
i remember one scene when his sister come to hamza & told bhai agar mere sath mera bf aisa kare .
i so want that hamza say bahan tum uss ladke ke sath wo mat karna jo hamna mere sath kiya .chupkar nikah😵
i agree at some point he is goes bit extra but common wo hamna ko sex ke liye or hotal me nahi bula raha tha . he just hivibg her her own medicene
its just so poor writting other couple at scot free.
Feroze/humza was fabulous . Without a doubt . N rumi was fabulous too. He indeed was fabulous, that screen presence is so powerful, no wonder he sells these crazy roles so well onscreen. Ahh the portrait scene and him teasing her that he will stare at her all the time and thus a portrait is not needed. The dinner scene, even the scene when he stops her from attacking those roadside women for ogling at him, the possessiveness made him see his own reflection, I mean everything about the way Hamza fell in love with Rumi was so subtle and delicate, and that is why I still cannot fathom that he was not given a second chance. Yes, and their relationship was so beautiful because just like everyone else, even Humza himself could not believe that he was surrendering all his love for Rumi, his words would be like 'I cannot ever fall in ove again' but his actions were like Rumi is there, so I am there. His family is the best and sanest by miles, especially I love how he slowly warms up with his mom post his accident trauma, otherwise all that woman would do is piss him off for Alishba (who again was problematic). Humza's accident scared his mom and that was a delight to watch, she stopped bothering him about Alishba post his breakdown, thankfully we saw a set of parents who understand their children's traumas and fear, otherwise Humna and Rumi's parents were from some imaginary la la land, where tarbiyat means getting daughters married without any freedom, and also dying without giving the children a chance for a final good bye, like WTH yaar this whole family was so problematic 🤢
I so wish humza did the same to humna what alishba did to him. Humza should have told the truth to humnas husband and family after he woke up from.coma. afterall sach is sach.
Humna was weak, ALWAYS ! Because if you love a man for 4 years and say he is the first man of your life, and he is ready to commit then there is no way, no freaking way that you could back stab him that way. I believe she never really loved Humza, because breaking up a relationship is one thing, but keeping him in delusion and getting married? That is a cheating, cheating of boundaries and low key fraudery. The writers was stupid kya, which audience was bored? Kuch bhi! Yes, as you have mentioned that Humza should have done the same what Alishba did, he did not do, because deep down he knew it was wrong and at the end he confessed that his sole motive was to disturb Humna, but for once even he never had the guts or the desire to exploit Humna's videos and texts in public. Alishba did everything to win Humza, Humza did everything to teach Humna a lesson, the two reasons are as different as chalk and cheese. His coma track was devastating, I felt bad, more because he deserved better 😒
He valued love like nobody elseHis karma came.bk biting him , when alishba told the truth to rumi. But how could rumi forgive humna and not him.and why couldn't she see the honesty in his feelings ?
I guess, Alishba was the only one who could see that he was going crazy again, the last conversation between her and Humza when he tells her that he cannot love anyone else but Rumi, even though she left him, knocked senses in her. She also thought that he was pretending to love Rumi, but he was not. Rumi's hypocrisy proved that she was Humna's biological sister afterall. I understand her reaction, but again if she truly loved him, she should have been the one to see through his redemption and his confession, he was not lying and someone who was his wife, saw him open up, was the mother of his child, should have been strong enough to see through his guilt. Humza as you have said stayed was true to his character, as the show's title suggested it was Ishqiya from Humza's side and football game from Humna's (with a degree in gungapan) side whereas it was just shopping from Rumi's end (bazaar mein Humza milgaya so dil lagaliya, Alishba ne kaha so dil tod bhi diya), what a lowlife portrayal of women 😆. Humza was ruined by 3 women in the show, and ironically all three had claimed to love him more than anything, kya mohabbat hai wow 🤣
Siddiqui was another cartoon, kuch bhi hojaye toh banda ka bp high hojata hain, to keep his bp in control Humna betrayed Humza 😕🤣..His wife does she have a name?) was there only for two reasons, asking him not to lie about his health and explaining her bipolar daughters about husband and sasural 🤔. They could have opted for an ending like where after a year, Rumi comes back to Humza, seeing him waiting for her. But no direct divorce, and that hypocrite Humna also got a full fledged monologue filled with bakwas for Humza, when Humna said 'Humza tumne mujhe kabhi mohabbat nahi kiya, mohabbat mujhe Azeem ne kiya hai', I was like behen tumhara Azeem ko kon shaadi karna chahta, tum hi thi akhri option uske liye, aur won tere abbu ka bp meter tha.
Things would be very different, if Humna would have confided in him and told him about her forced marriage, he would have acted on it, as Humza said once 'If your dad thinks I am capable of Rumi, then I was capable enough to be your husband', so yes Humza would have convinced Siddiqui, that is just plane sad, Humna's one truth could have changed so many things, could have saved Humza from this self destruction. She never loved him and even if she did she was too coward to even confide in Humza, his possessiveness cannot be a good enough of a justification to push him towards trauma. The last but not the least, Humna and her sister Rumis bond was so so weak that neither they confided in each other, nor did they have the strength to come clean, just wow, letting your sister marry your ex traumatized lover and then playing the victim card is low life. The difference between Humza and Humna was that Humza did not defend his actions, he said he was wrong did not give duhaayi of his cheated self, whereas Humna played the self pity game, shed crocodile tears and made everyone believe that she was helpless when she was not.
