So yes, Imlie will remind him that you can't make promises lightly and you have to keep them when you make them....she will push him to keep his promises more now. The first 100 epis went in Adi saying he will keep his promise to Malini....but now Imlie will push him to keep those even if he wants to back down.

The angst will come from the whole "dil hai ki maanta nahin" side of things I guess....they both will want to fulfill the promises/zimmedaari to Malini but they will keep losing the battle to their own hearts.

Exactly and that is what will make them so compelling to watch as you said in the above post too. Jitna saath rehna chahieinge utna they will not be able to and mostly due to their own internal conflicts. Like he said you are the only one who understands me fully and is aware of where I come from and why I behave ho I do more than me.. My guilt my kashmakash my zimmedaris my ghussa..

Exactly he accepted he is the husband not that it allows him to act like one too.. he still has bediyan in his feet thanks to not showing courage enough to put it all out.. that day he repented to not being able to show physical courage to drop imlie but emotional courage he lacked that by not confronting coming out straight and yes he overcame the physical aspect of that by combating his pain and being able to win and make up for his weakness from the unfortunate night in PD abhi woh emotional courage laana hai toh face his truth with reality abhi woh battle baaki hai

You're probably right about the legality issue getting punted for now.....because they will likely try to paint Adi-Imlie's relationship in an illicit light....hence the dialogue from AC about calling it an "affair" too. This is what I always felt wary about long term....when the time comes, despite being married, Adi-Imlie will have to face this slander of being called illicit...precisely cuz Adi went ahead and committed bigamy. Ab bhugto, beta.....lol

Yes but I hope they won't drag it. It's not fair to Malini and it's better to tell the truth even she faints or has an emotional meltdown.I'm sure Imlie's benevolent characteristics can bring more harm to others around her when you try to hide a truth that can't be hidden. I hope she doesn't make him promise anything. Do you think someone will be happy living in a loveless marriage? It's better to go through some pain and move on than hide the truth.I don't think Adi will be able to fulfill the role of a loving husband, moreover, their marriage is invalid as Adi and Imlie see each other as husband and wife. The second marriage is invalid in the eyes of the law but this is a show and the validity of the marriage doesn't hold anything against good old drama.

What an Episode! What the makers are trying to do to us ? 🤓

It was totally an awesome and surprising one, I never thought a hug will come so soon and like this! And which wash up whatever come before (the knee apology, the gundy fight) and even next ( the cute precap)!

Don't you notice, we all for the first time forget about Milani scene! 🤣

So let me go through the episode one by one!

A) the knee apology and the running after her, it was super nice and powerful too!

He is in the weak side now, trying so hard, putting teary puppy eyes wanting a forgiveness from her! Being sorry for whatever he did and said!

But in the other side Imlie was strong enough to not accept it, to ask question! To till him just leave me alone! (( bye bye go! )) breaking his heart while she herself want him badly to not go!

B) Milani and her mother fight as always, her mother reflecting her own relation problem on her daughter relation and trying to solve her own issues by solving and interfering in her daughter issues!

And making Mallini questioning her husband actions, which this what will destroy the relation rather than helping solve things and make it workout!

And it looks like AC is planning to attack the T house, so maybe that is the reason for Millani to come back to the T house before Adi return!

C) the gundos Annoying Imlie thinking she was left alone, and the hero coming in anger to save her and teach them a lesson do not mess with my wife! And they only saved by imlie stopping him, then imlie breaking down of what just happen, and getting a glance of what her life will be! When Adi trying to make her assure that he is with her, and she ask him again till when? Which made him speechless! And the rain come in!

Amazing that I forget about the rain guy 😂 , that how awesome the episode was!

D)SK and Mithi ❤️, I love their connection!, Mithi panicking on her girl lefting PD in anger, and SK assure her he has a trust in BS, he will be with her!

E) Now the Hug , they reach for a shelter, but the difference here, it was an old couple home, which Adi introduce the both of them as a couple , she is my wife! He didn't let this to be as assumption of the sendoor and the mangal sotra, he cleared it directly! They gave them clothes and food, the way BS look at Imlie made her blush, like it sense it is the first time he see her , oh it is sure the first time he see her as his wife, so it is deferent now!

They set next to each other they felt the awkwardness, she go near the window, talking from her heart how she was thinking rain was her friend and it become her enemy remembering the incident where they got forced to marry!

She felt he was badly wanting a forgiveness to have peace in his life so she give him that, And then telling him that it will be the end now which he will go back, and stop whatever lying and acting he was doing, which trigger him to spell it out, and tell the truth about himself, about the true if the last 3 days, that was not an act, how important to him, that she knows he was not acting , her thinking makes a different now! He told her how he was without her, he come to find answers, he now know the love and responsibility, he couldn't even mentioning Milani's name! He told her she made a place in his heart! And he will never forget her, and he want an assurance from her that she will not forget too! And he had it!

Then the hesitation of the hug, both wanting it, but their is a wall they have to cross, which Adi did! ( I love when man in lead in this! ) the way he reached her arm putting her arm behind his back, like inviting her to come close, it is your haq, him losing it to a tight hug, both of them finding peace! This is where they belongs! They belongs in each other arms 🥰

It was not a hormonal reaction, it was pure, that is the beauty of it!

And as you said no (I love u) was included, but is was an enough declaration of their both love and needing each other!

On the other hand among all PDA Millani was all about needing that he telling her that he love her !

F) the cute precap! Loving the transformation of their relation, it felt more free and joyfull, imlie in his clothes 😂 his laugh on her was totally cute and worth watching!

Imlie will never fit in his jeans , but it is a TV show, so give them that space to do something not logical, like this

Even in the hug scene how come the old couple have a perfect size clothes for them 🤣

But is that will indicate that it will be a change coming to imlie look and style, and BS will be the one who will do it and have a choice on it?

Since guilty just mentioned it too about the clothes...it reminded me I was wanting to say this from last night but it kept slipping my mind.. again this kind of intimacy has he experienced that with malini.. wahan toh mera tera hi khatam nahi hoti while Imlie poore haq se bina telling him is trying on his clothes and making him laugh.. woh mera tera ki line never existed between them .. and that is just so so beautiful to watch

I think he comes back thinking this is as far as Aditya/ Imlie can go and that he needs to pick up the pieces that he has left back in Delhi and move ahead. Little does he still understand that destiny has not played its part in entirety or the depth of his dependency on Imlie. Will he want to tell the truth to Malini or wallow in self pity? That I’m not too sure of because this is Aditya and he is extremely selfish. I want to see how they make him react to Malini leaving the house. That might give us a clue. And if he told Malini the truth, how does Imlie even come back to the house. So yes, like you said they will kick that can down the road too.

All building up to the only thing possible - that of their relationship getting labeled illicit. I feel sad for Malini. She is a victim. Aditya and Imlie both turned her into one so that’s their cross to bear. She however has no business questioning what feelings he may or may not have for Imlie now because she herself refused to challenge her husband’s blatant actions in the beginning itself. She went to the hospital the first time. And overlooking his behavior during the bridge incident or during the bedaag trust part of it when he volunteered to clear her doubts. But logic is not her strong point these days so we will get an Aditya trying to placate her, she herself trying to rectify whatever it is that she thinks is broken and smothering him in the process. T family will bear the brunt of their broken relationship the most sadly.

Made a few gifs on this bit when he's mirroring every step of Imlie's......kudos to the director for even managing to make the regular forest locations of Filmcity looks so beautiful.....especially that last bit as they were walking over a bridge with fall colors on the leaves in the trees on the side.

I would have totally named this thread, "Like Moth to a Flame - part two" if not for the promise/hug scene in the second half😆

But yes, the beating he gave to the goons today depicted another level of junoon in Adi regarding his protectiveness for Imlie....he's always had this mad reckless streak when it comes to her....the verbal lashing he gave to AC falls in the same category. These were goons so Adi responded with more physical violence....and only Imlie could finally bring him to his senses or he was totally gone in that moment.

I feel this scene gave us a window into the extent to which Adi will keep going to protect her and support her even if he cannot be with her....whether it's for her education, her dreams, her respect....he will fight the whole world for it now and won't back down....unless Imlie traps him in some kasam in cliched ITV style😆.

There was so much tension in both of them from after that Prakash conversation that the physical fight almost seemed like he trying to thrash out whatever problems they had between them, things that he was unable to communicate. The rain was a savior in that sense, and has always been although Imlie termed it her enemy.

@bold - exactly and he will probably always be the one who will hold on/protect their relationship as well. Similar to the mannat incident. He will bear the pain, hurt others but protect Imlie at all costs. Will he spare her the pain though?

I have been meaning to mention that entire scene walking through that forest of filmcity!

AY thanks for the brining it up. I am still trying to gather my thoughts on that scene maybe a re-run is required tonight...but it was so prepossessing. They are going to walk separately fighting their own battels, but the manzil is one. Also I think it basically gave us the idea that Adi will always be there behind her, just not with her..Hmm! A very interesting scene.

As for finding happiness.....I think both Adi and Imlie have given up on that expectation in their life right now😆. That is why I was saying there was a heartbreaking tragic beauty to the hug in the last scene....they hugged each other like they knew their happiness lies with each other but they won't be able to reach out for it.

I'm waiting to see what Adi thinks is the current status of his marriage with Malini if he has accepted he is Imlie's husband😆.....is he going to say that the marriage is still illegal but he's accepted it's sanctity per rituals? Is that the loophole he's going to go for? lol I also doubt he will be able to fulfill the role of a loving husband to Malini after a realization like this but then we all know Babusahib isn't known to back down from attempting to fight the inevitable....so let's see how he tries....and fails.

Re: Imlie's benevolent characteristics....lol everyone has their own tragic flaw in the story.....Imlie's sacrificial nature has its tendency to backfire just like Adi's out of control impulses...so everything has to play out per each person's characteristics and how they try to manage the situation.

@bold: Nope....that would need a herculean metamorphosis in his personality. He's changed but I don't think he's changed that much....plus even if he tries to spare her, she will still feel his pain regardless given how their souls are one. She will burn in this purgatory with him wittingly or unwittingly....that's part of how fate has tied them together.
