that's exactly my issue!! also he already saw shaurya trying to fight against bade papa to stop him from sending them out and in this house they try and maintain some fake sense of justice where they only dole out punishments when need be. also lol if it was going to be this easy to get shaan to get a divorce, why didn't devi just threaten to throw gayatri and kanchan out of the house years before? it's actually so illogical!!

also i feel like the only reason aastha probably didn't divorce him is because that would require some level of custody dispute. though i still maintain that it makes no sense why she didn't try and fight for visitation rights.
