Every time they show that scene I cry for her! I also appreciate that he remembers that because it means he recognizes how excited she was about SIAC! Now I'm back in my I hate Shaurya he needs to grovel to the ends of the earth mode 😡 The cheating thing was the last straw for her but his words definitely cut the deepest

lol as someone who watched from the beginning that was like such a blessing!! i was like omg i cannot believe one that we finally got some shakhi content but also i was convinced that he wouldn't protect her or care because usually in these shows when the guy hates the girl he does whatever he can to make her life miserable. but here he was actually shown to be a professional who cares for students, regardless of his personal animosity towards them. actually when she got taken to the police station for staying at that motel, i thought it was going to be that shaurya saw her and then tipped off the police just so she couldn't show up for her interview the next day but that was nowhere near what happened!

Though I didn't assume that he must have called in the police deliberately, I was surprised too because when she called Shaan he set aside all differences and did the right thing by telling the officer that she was a possible candidate and not only that he went a step ahead and sent Makhan to get her dropped at a safer guest house! I was so impressed watching that scene because like you said in any other show he would have been portrayed as orchestrating the arrest or spitefully letting her stay trapped in the police station.

That hug was literally the start of the relatioship and it today it ends on her not wanting to even see his face 🤣

O actually liked the scene after on the stirs where Shaan and shaurya are supporting her against vineet and how she looks back

Yeah.....even though the hug was more of a support hug and nothing more.. it was the first time Shaurya felt like this girl is innocent..warna toh he kept thinking Astha ki student..saajish karne aayi hai...badnaam karne aayi hai clg ko..idk kya kya 🤣

Honestly that's why I appreciate Shaurya as a character because for the most part, he does right by people. They go out of their way to show that it's not just people close to him, but he helps random people too. Like he was going to stop her from "committing suicide" and didn't even know who she was. Then even when he does hate her, he still tries to help her. During the riots, he protects her but also helps strangers. And none of this feels contrived like they are trying to balance his negative traits by just dropping in this random positive thing about him. Maybe it's KV's portrayal but you really feel like Shaurya is a stand up guy.
