This looks good. However there seems to be very little diversity in casting older roles.

Amitabh Bachchan seems to have carved a niche for himself in these older roles, and as a knock-on effect writers started writing with him in mind. Which was a good development a decade ago as it allowed the stories of older characters to be told in mainstream film. However since then there has been no progression at all. Writers / casting directors are stuck on Bachchan and don't bother with his contemporaries.

There are so many brilliant actors around his age range, some of them are better actors, most could play the roles as well as him (at the very least). Would love to see a bit of creativity in casting these roles.

And older female roles (70+ age range) just don't exist. Again, there are so many brilliant actresses within this age bracket and scripts just aren't being written for them.

Rani Mukherji, Tabu and Aishwarya Rai are only in their 40s and even they have trouble getting good roles or in Tabu's case good mainstream roles; despite currently being the most utilised actresses amongst their contemporaries.

Saw the trailer twice ! Looks interesting and it seems like there is a major suspense which we will find out once we watch it.

Only replying to the part related to Amitabh Bachchan - That's called 'Stardom'.

There are many fine actors and they will get their chances. But, they won't have similar visibility for sure even with good critical acclaim.

I love movies like this where the host is clearly up to something and everyone is stuck somewhere. This looks like some version of any of Agatha Christie's work. Hopefully it turns out better than Game.

I was about to say the same. AB attracts audiences to theatres even now. Naseer, Anupam, etc. may be better actors, but they don't draw the same numbers.

Na. better actors how? AB is leaps above and beyond any actor in the country, in terms of how he can instantly make a connection with his audience, now if that is not good acting I don’t know what is!

That said, I agree with the above poster who said that they have to come up with more roles instead of trying to tailor make every role to the one and only.

Hashmi is actually a good actor. Too bad he got stuck with the serial kisser tag😆. Maybe 2021 will be his year.
