@bold wait you're so right! I didn't even think of this but that's true and that would be another reason for Shaurya to stop hating his mom. It wasn't just the pain of her leaving but rather the fact that he hadn't been able to stand up for her. I also keep wondering what Devi/Tej have over Shaan that keeps him there with them.

But there is something definitely off about them and I think in recent eps he's been really pulling away when compared to the beginning.

I think Shaan was also indebted to them in a similar way because Devi and Tej seem older and were probably close to a parent to him. May be these are going to be the parallels that will be drawn between Aastha-Shaan and Anokhi-Shaurya.
