Coming back to Imlie....I think they are setting up the next 100 epis ki story with whatever shift is happening in PD right now 😆.....last 100 epis went in Adi ka denial that Imlie has no place in his life, he doesn’t accept their marriage. Next 100 epis might contrast the two women in his life more directly and his struggle to accept who he truly loves and is meant to be with. Kismat ka faisla accept karna is still pending and I don’t think he’s reached that yet.

Lol disappointment toh I got over too so quick caz wahan attachment iss level ka tha nahi to begin with yahan zyada ho gaya hai mujhe😆

Yeah this.option sounds better set up for the next little while and analyze the 2 relationships and weigh his pros and cons and let him go over that journey and then reaching any conclusion that is more my expectation from the journey ahead and more believable for me

Speaking of attachment, yes Abhi Imlie se attachment hai but if they bungle up this transition, won’t be that hard for me to ditch this too 😆. Attachment hai par US level ka nahin hai yet😆....probably cuz Adi-Imlie have not reached their full potential as characters yet. If they butcher them at this stage, it will still be easier to move on 😆.

I enjoy the show cuz it provides potential for good analysis. But as characters, Adi-Imlie fascinate me more for the complexity in them rather than feeling a deep attachment to them. Well I do feel attached to humari pyari Imlie but in Adi’s case, he’s almost more like a clinical study for me. Main popcorn 🍿 ke saath analyze karne ke liye dekhti hoon use 🤣.

Waise I'm laughing again at the rollercoaster we've been on since Adi's latest round of restlessness started ......

Abhi I'm remembering last week when I'd first gotten an inkling ki Adi's restless search for answers will lead to a realization of his feelings😆....remember what we talked about after his convo with his dad and you thought it's too soon? 😆.....but then we dismissed the possibility again when he showed up in PD with his usual "sab khatam kar dunga" denials😆.

And now look at him....ek extra week drag kar ke baat has come back to where his dad was originally foreshadowing....that Adi will need to face himself to get some answers😆.....that is what he finally did yesterday with the convo with the alter-ego. Yeh log baat ki continuity ek hafte baad puri karte hain after stuffing so many other crazy things in between ki insaan ka toh dimaag ghoom jaaye😆......for almost the whole week, koi bhi bhanak nahin padne di ki his father's words are still in his subconscience....pura time went in jumping from farak to galat to exam haq....then direct bomb phodaa with alter-ego suddenly appearing😆

No wonder hum log mentally exhaust ho jaate hain keeping up with all this😆

I don’t think he will go back to tell Malini that Imlie is it for him....I think his intent will be to tell her that he’s realized what Imlie has come to mean to him so he now wants Malini to deliver her judgement and verdict for his crime of betraying her 😆.

Intent is one thing. Something will stop him from telling Malini his truth as usual. So he will wallow in a new kind of guilt after that and maybe try to retreat to denial again 🤷‍♀️😂

So, I get that yesterday the alter ego was his subconscious self kicking his conscious self to see things that are staring into the face. That is Ok but that where it was all heading to with the PD track and Aditya's ping pong behavior to farak nahi padta to exam is important to missing you. His initial denial also goes with his character that Malini is it for him. What I am skeptical about is the conscious acceptance about the fact that he has more feelings for Imlie than Malini in PD. This acceptance should happen in Delhi because then if he goes with this total acceptance to Delhi after seeing Malini and being bombarded with accusations from all sides because he is going to miss the party (I think Malini is totally going to lost it at this point), he is going to go into a guilt overdrive.

Then every action that happens after that, he would blame himself and his feelings for Imlie. So the realization that with or without Imlie, Malini is not the right partner for him will never happen (unless we have another alter ego conversation). If the acceptance happens in Delhi because now he will seeing things that he was blind to before, than yes, the guilt would be still there but at least the blame would not only be his.

The other thing is lets say Aditya goes back with the intent that he needs to clear things out but looking at Malini who is again going to be fragile state, he would put everything on hold and just continue. But then we have Imlie who has made peace with the fact that BBS is not hers or will be confused and hurt because of BBS different behavior from these past days. So shouldn't the sympathy be with Imlie rather than Malini, because she is the one who has been sacrificing since day one and will still be selfless whereas Malini will be the one who will be seen as selfish.

I've always felt that the sympathy for Imlie will be the highest among the three no matter what the situation.....her level of misfortune is just monumentally bigger than any of them.....and then yes, she is the most sacrificing of the three too....so I'm sure they will find a way to circle this back into Imlie's sacrifice in some form.

Sympathy for Malini at the most will be about her health being so fragile and her level of dependency on Adi....but to me, Imlie's tragedy will remain the greatest.

Adi will take turns in hurting both Imlie and Malini for a while I think as he continues to grapple with his confusions and denials.

As for full acceptance in PD.....I'm not fully sure of that yet either and will need to see what happens with the remaining epis in PD.....I do expect him to struggle with denial for a bit but I also think that this one extra day he's given to Imlie will bring them closer in some form before they part.

You make a good point that it will be the final straw for Malini when he doesn't show up the day they are expecting him and she may leave for her mom's house then. Adi meanwhile will be happily spending that extra day with Imlie in PD....and will pay the price for it when he returns 😆.

I know the ideal situation would be for Adi to realize his incompatibility with Malini regardless of Imlie's presence in his life but doesn't look like we are going to get that anytime soon....for now, they will likely use his realization of growing feelings for Imlie to guilt trip him more and make him feel like he is betraying Malini.

Sachi mein, he is so complex and has so many layers, that I really like to analyze his behavior, plus their actions/reactions to the circumstance that they have been forced into give me different kind of fascination. I hope they continue it and continue to give us googly episodes so we keep thinking that "What just happened and whats going to happen"😆

LOL yeah, that's the main difference....they are not like regular characters where as audiences, you get so attached to them many times that you find it difficult to detach if something happens to mess up that lovable image they've formed in your mind😆.

Adi is just not that kind of lovable character😆.....he's a complicated mess in many ways so yeah, the draw with him is trying to sort through the mess he is.

Imlie is the lovable one that I feel like giving a hug to and protecting😆.
