He had no feelings for Anokhi at that time, and just wanted to be a good human and a good prof at that time. He even screamed at Vinit when he was pestering her about what she was doing itne late tak. Then next day, when he saw her in two minds, he went and comforted her saying , she needs to tell him who did this to her. Then told her not to get scared "Mai hoo na". If u see all of it was withing the student teacher boundary actually. And more than that , he had a doubt on her words. But seeing her fight for justice agin n again convinced him that she is right. It was his gut telling him that she is innocent. He remembered her haalat and just knew she wasn't faking it. Then after solving the issue, he even made rich students sit with poor ones just to remove the prejudice in the class. If u see all this, it tells u so many good things about him. He was trying to break prejudices!
