That's true, but if you watched the remake thinking to be an original (especially as a child), you'll let the plagiarism pass because it occupies a special place in your mind.
I loved the songs of Maine Pyaar Kiya (the Salman Bhagyashree starrer), only to later know that several songs were plagiarised π
There was even a wonderful scene they did in the YUDKBH serial on Sony- I remember it solely because it had Aate Jaate as it's background song! π. Was the one when Sameer cries on the bed after seeing that Naina had burnt her hand (just to experience the same pain he was going through π€ͺ). Crazy from the girl, but the scene stayed with me.

Then comes comedy, realistic.
Masala movie...π I watch (with interest) only if story is good..
