Bon and Forgiveness: Is her character really butchered? - Page 2

Over the last week, we all were extremely sad to see the butchering of characters by the makers of BB. For Ani, there were always multiple posts analysing his behaviour and his reasons, but Bon and her Nibbiness, as well as her instant forgiveness for Ani, was considered OOC. But was it really?

I say no, Bon has always been quick to forgive her 'apne' when she has been the one hurt. She forgave Mami for selling her to HM, and convinced Ani and Sumati to do so as well. She even forgave Sampoo for all the misery and emotional torture sampoo put her through during the periods fiasco, again convincing Ani and Kaka to forgive her for all her other Manipulations. She only refused to forgive Sampoo when her role in Sumati's state was revealed. The only time when she refused to forgive and forget a wrong done to her was during the molestation case. And all these above cases were people who were working with malicious intentions, however, she kept forgiving until her Ma or her Pati Babu were hurt.

So with this track history, is it OOC for Bon to forgive the man she believes to be her sansaar? She has forgiven him before but yes it is the first time whatever has happened has been almost completely Ani's mistake, and she is well aware that it wasn't a planned attack or malicious intentions. So why wouldn't she forgive Ani, especially when he did apologize. Ani has never deliberately hurt her before, is it OOC if she believes he would never hurt her deliberately?

So she forgave Ani, and still believes that like in the past, she can convince him into her way of thinking if she tries hard enough. And that is classic Bon behaviour IMO.

I would love to know your opinion.

When I watched Monday's epi, I thought I would cringe when I will watch Bon wearing the gown and trying to impress Anirudh. It was rather sad though. I guess Ani was heart broken as well.

I don't think her behavior is because of her teenage crush for Ani or Kaka's manipulations. They are also drivers for her behavior but the main reason is she genuinely loves and cares for him. Just like he has become the center of her world, she wishes to be more than a zimmedari. She wants him to be happy with her. Her multiple times forgiving Ani comes from her good heart and selfless love for Anirudh. We can't impose or expect 21st century grown up woman's reaction from her.

I understand Ani is awkward to explain it to her. But he should understand by now how tenacious Bon is and she wouldn't give up unless she truly understood. Once and for all, he can make her sit, explain it to her what Kaka and society are expecting, how she misinterpreted it and why their expectations are wrong. Bon trusts him more than anyone. She will believe in him. Or bring Sumati and let her explain.

For Bon to understand the importance of becoming independent, I don't want Ani's character and their relationship to be butchered. Marriage is sacred and even if AE dies after marriage, it doesn't change the fact that Ani did second marriage.

In general, I can understand a single girl falling for a divorcee or a widowed man but never one who married twice in spite of having first wife at home. I know Ani-Bon's relationship is unconventional but still, being an Ani fan, I can't take it.

But here my point is buddy she is kid so have nature to forget or forgive everyone easily, even not knowing wat touf phase she had face through them like lot of times ARC issues, thn mami in HM and Sampoo in menses track bt my point is y ARC never see tat nature in Bon and keeps shouting at her which vl diminish her self respect bfre everyone, he vl do ths and later he vl advise Bon wen u walk in road all should see u and feel proud of u and u should walk in head raised way.... wat all this bfre he shouting at her bfre anyone he never thnks wat Bon goes through who consider her as his person who gonna achieve his life time goal never respects her and burst at her bfre all whether she do mistake or whether mistake is with him he burst out at Bon.... and expect easy sorry frm her.... so even Bon forgives ARC, he shoupd take it way i didnt thnk abt u bfre i speak bt u always forgive me ... so ths should irk ARC fr sure.....so forgiving nature of Bon is her's qualifying nature.... bt ppl who taking advantage of it including ARC ate loosers.....just my POV buddy....

I didn't say that Ani was right or wrong here Raj(?). Just mentioning Bon's character. Forgiveness is a part of it so extending it to ARC isn't OOC for her.

Yeah yeah dear gt u bt my point is its her too qualifying character and all taking advantage of it including ARC.... tats really hurting......
