Virat and Sai have moved on from the events happened in the last few months, the separation, the arguments, and the misunderstandings. Slowly but steadily they are rebuilding the trust!Virat has realized his feelings for Sai but is not able to tell her, and Sai’s wall for Virat is breaking faster!

CN Kitchen (aai and Sai preparing tea):Aai: Sai bada, aajkal main dekh rahi hoon ki tum aur Virat aur kareeb aa rahe ho..
sai: haan aai, kareeb aa rahe hain par pyaar waali koi baat nahi hai.. dheere dheere hum apne galtiyon ka sudhar kar rahe hain.
aajkal virat sir mere sath kaafi time spend karte hain. Unka ruke hai ki raat ko 9 baje ke baad hum dono baatein karenge!
Aai: *smiling hearing Sai speak* hmm accha toh yeh baat hai! *gives Sai a little nudge*
Sai: nahi aai, aisi koi baat nahi hai! Hume bas ek doosare se baat karna acha lagta hai!aai aap bhi na, chaliye jaldi se chai leke jaate hain nahi toh kaku phirse sabki man ki shanti kharab karengi!
Aai: oh Sai! Tum pagal ho bilkul.. chalo
*living room- kaku mandli sitting and chit chatting when Virat walks in*
kaku: aao Virat, bilkul sahi time pe aaye ho! Main soch rahi thi ki aaj hum sab raat ko movie dekhe
*Sai and aai enter with tea*Virat mesmerized looking at Sai.
kaku: patralekha ka bada man tha, (this broke virats gaze towards Sai, pakhis name would make him lose his smile. He still couldn’t forgive the whole family for what they had done, but Sai had asked him to move on so he was trying)
Virat: kaku, mujhe aaj raat ko bahar jana hai, DIG sir ne aapne ghar pe bulaya hai dinner ke liye kaafi saare officers ko..
Kaku: acha toh tum jaao, hum dekh lenge..
virat: main akele nahi jaaoonga, DIg sir ne Sai ko bhi bulaya hai, woh chahte hain ki Sai aaye (this was a lie but he knew if he didn’t say this the family would start of with their bezzati lecture) aur main unhe mana nahi kar sakta kyunki woh mere senior hain toh saai aur mein dono jaayenge..
Kaku and mandli made a face but knew they couldn’t say anything to nodded in agreement.
Virat: Sai tum bhi tayar ho jaao, hume 8 baje tak jana hai.
Sai: okay virat sir, main aai ki khana banane mein help karke tayar ho jaaongi tab tak aap tayar ho jaaye..
In the room Virat was almost ready but Sai still wasn’t here, he was getting a little impatient, the thing is he got a gift for her to wear at the party a beautiful black chiffon saree, his favourite colour. He hid it in her cupboard hoping she would notice..
Sai walked in with tea for Virat, setting it in the table she looked at him as he kept staring at her!
Sai: kya hua Virat sir, hello (trying to break his gaze)
Virat: huh, Sai tum mujhe yeh sir sir kyon bulati ho! Virat kaho na..
Sai: nahi, main aapko nahi bulaoongi.. mere pass ek better name hai
Virat: kya?
sai: KJ!!!
virat: khadoos jaasoos!
Sai: haan, aaj se main aapko kj hi bulaoongi!!
virat: *rolled his eyes* hmm, whispering to himself at least sir toh nahi bula rahi
Sai: kuch bola aapne..
While pouring tea for Virat and handing it to him
virat: nahi!
Achha abh tum tayar ho jao, please, 7 baj gaye hain!
Sai: haan haan ho rahi hoon..
(Sai opens her cupboard to see what to wear and suddenly sees the gorgeous chiffon saree, so beautiful that her eyes keep staring at it)Kj, yeh kya hai!?
Virat: gift hai! Abh maine socha hum DIG sir ke ghar jaa rahe hain toh tum acchi si saree pehno..(Moving closer to Sai) aur waise bhi black mera favourite hai!
Sai blushed and it was visible on her face! She was trying to hide the smile on her face that the gift had brought.
Sai: waah! Aapko mere liye gift laane ka naya shock chadha hai! Uss din bhi aap mere liye jhumke laaye the!!
Virat whispering to himself: meri sabse badi gift toh tum ho Sai...
Haan woh maine market mein dekha toh socha tumhare liye le aaon, waise bhi tumhare jhumke itne acche nahi hai (he said teasing her)
Sai: haaw! Aap mere jhumko ki burayi kar rahe hain... mr. Khadoos jasoos!!
Virat: accha nahi karta par tum jake tayar ho jaao..
Sai: jaa rahi hoon (starts walking but turns to take out her tongue to tease him)
Virat smiling and blushing looks at her as she walks away..
a little while later.. Virat is almost ready wearing a nice suit( which compliments the saree he bought for Sai) , when he hears the bathroom door open and Sai walk out wearing the black saree.
Lost in her, he keeps staring as she walks to the mirror to make her hair into a side bun and wear her jewelry.. Sai never put too much make up, she hated it so had a very natural look on but still looked like a million dollars! Her jewelry was simple, a white gold all around diamond necklace and cocktail earrings also diamond.. the whole look complemented her so beautifully!
He noticed her blouse ( a shimmery black backless blouse which has to be tied at the back {something like Sushmita sen wore in main hoon na}) Sai was struggling to tie the blouse at the back..
Sai: uff ho, bandh jaao.. kya hai yeh!! (Not noticing virat in the room)
virat started walking towards Sai mesmerized by her beauty..Sai not noticing him continued with her struggle, suddenly felt virats hands on hers.
sai: *consciously* Virat sir..
Virat: itni der se dekh raha hoon tumhe, bandh hi nahi raha tha.. just helping you..
Sai extremely conscious and blushing..
Main kar leti aap kyun..
Virat: mujhe pata hai! Sai Joshi apna kaam khud karti hai.. par aaj toh nahi kar paayi he said in a teasing voice.
sai: *narrowing her eyes* accha to abh aap meri taang kheech rahe hai!! Kj hi rahenge aap..
Virat: tum jo bulaaogi mujhe manzoor hai! Whispering in her ears
Sai looked down and blushed!
Virat moved behind having tied her blouse!
It was a picture perfect moment! He was standing right behind her while they looked at each other through the mirror... matching and completing each other in the best possible way.
(I tried something, I would love to see something like this play out but yeh sab sirf mere sapno mein hoga)

(I wrote it today itself 😆, had the idea and thought I would lose it)
Sai breaking from the glance of looking at virat
sai: Abh der nahi ho rahi!
virat: (still lost in sai) Nahi
(in the softest possible voice)
sai: huh, kya
virat: (breaking the glance) Haan haan chalo maine kab roka.
tum hi ho jo itna time lagati ho, maine bola tha na jaldi tayyar hona.. Kisi IPS ki kadar hi nahi hai bilkul!
Sai: hawww, virat sir aap kitna jhut bolte hain!! main toh tayyar thi aap hi mujhe dekh ke woh kya kehte hai mantramukht ho gaye the (sai teased him)
Virat: aisa kuch nahi hai, zyada maat socho! main toh khud ko dekh raha tha, aakhir itna handsome lag raha hoon!!
Sai: main acchi nahi lag rahi (she said while pouting)
Her innocence was so cute that virat couldn't help but smile!
Virat: sai tum hamesha achhi lagti ho!! jo bhi pehnlo, tum bohot sundar lagti ho..
sai: sachhi!!
virat: muchii!!
abh chalein, waise hi der ho rahi hai!
Sai: haan haan chalo!
Arre main toh bhul hi gayi..
aai ne mujhe bola tha jaane se pehle milke jaana
aisa kariye aap bahar chaliye main aai ko bye bolke aati hoon!
Virat: theek hai par jaldi aana
Sai: (while walking towards the door) Ji
As Sai was walking away Virat said..
Virat: waise main kaisa lag raha hoon!? (With a flirty smug face)
Sai understanding what he was trying to do
sai: Bilkul khadoos jaasoos (narrowing her eyes, teasing him with her hands) (and she ran out of the room)
Virat stood there blushing and smiling like an idiot-
yeh ladki, bappa!! hayyeee (while keeping his hand on his heart)
CN kitchen-
Aai was finishing cooking when patralekha walked in
Pakhi: ashwini mami main kuch madad kardoon aapki.
Aai: nahi sab kuch hogaya hai! (though she didn't like pakhi she did not want to even interact with her or give her importance)
Sai walked into the kitchen and Aai’s gaze went straight to her DIL
Aai: waah Sai! Kitni pyaari lag rahi ho.
This statement shifted pakhis gaze towards Sai, she was already jealous that Virat was taking Sai with him, and now hearing that Sai is looking pretty riled her up!
Sai: haina aai!!! (she exclaimed excitedly)
Pata hai yeh mujhe Virat sir ne gift kiya hai!! Woh chahte the ki aaj main yeh saree pehno..
Aai- acha (in a teasing manner)
waise black mere godu ka favourite colour hai
Sai: (blushing) mujhe pata hai aai, unhone mujhe bataya tha..
Aai: hmm, toh abh tumhe godu ke baare sab kuch pata hoga na, tum dono ko ek dusre ki choice bhi ache se pata hai!! isiliye mera godu tumhare liye gifts lata rehta hai!!
(she said while giving a side look to pakhi as if aai was taunting pakhi)
Pakhi could not believe what she heard, she thought the saree was thr first gift, but no virat had been giving sai gifts all this while...
Pakhi riled up in jealousy decided to do some sort of drama to stop Virat from going with Sai..
She noticed the empty hot kadhai infront of her. She planned to drop the hot kadhai on herself. She knew if she got hurt Kaku would not let virat go for the party and instead tend for pakhi.
Before she could even reach for the kadhi aai picked the empty kadhai and put it in the washing. She very well understood what patralekha was trying to do!
Aai then walked to sai-
Aai to Sai- *putting a kala teeka on her* meri Sai ko kisi ki nazar na lage! Itni sundar lag rahi ho tum. Bohot saare log hain jinhe tumhe aur virat ko dekh kar jalan hoti hai (she said in a voice which would taunt pakhi)
abh jaao warna godu yahan aajayega tumhe dhoonte dhoonte aur mujhe daant de ga! Bolega Kya aai,apne meri biwi ko apne pass rakh liya..
Both of them laughed!!
Sai- jaa rahi hoon aai, mujhe pata hai virat sir bohot zyada chidd jayenge. phir mujhe unhe manana padega!!!
Bye aai!!
(sai turned around and left the kitchen)
