Secondly, the "Blood is thicker than water" bit was also coming into play, sooner than I expected. Pallavi quite clearly expressed that Raghav came to help her, but FIL clearly was miffed. I don't know what bothered him most, Raghav helped his daughter, or Raghav helped his daughter-in-law?? Liberal and all is just truckload of BS. I am feeling it already, how liberal these people will be in the future, even if there is a sign of Mandaar in the equation. Dislike for Raghav is not the only problem. If Pallavi chooses Raghav, that too will be a problem. This family are a bunch of hypocrites. Only Aai seems to be okay, but I don't trust her either.

Although, it would be fun watching Raghav and Pallavi's "Dosti" wala scenario, I don't think its possible. Pallavi sees him as someone who has demeaned and ridiculed her for no fault of her own. Pallavi may become his friend, but not Raghav. Raghav who would care less to explain, is drawn in emotionally to Pallavi. He does not look like a person to go the friendship way, he will just jump to love. Infact, he would just play along this friendship thing for spending more time with Pallavi. And later, he would expect only "reciprocation" from Pallavi, nothing less for himself. It would be like challenge haar gaya, lekin dil jeet liya Pallavi ne. And if Farhad even tells him that Pallavi may not feel that way for him, Raghav would be like "She does not have a choice but to love me" and Pallavi rejecting him, will only aggravate this further. Raghav has a long way to go. What do you think guys???

Sulochana's problem is that she wants to possess the house they are living in. She is making it difficult for Pallavi to earn money so to save the shop, in desperation the family will beg Sulochana for money and in turn she can get the house.

Let's see. Raghav ka problem hai uska gussa aur uska gussa major problems ki wajah hoti hai. Raghav dusro se jyaada khud ke liye problems create karta hai. So, let's see. Raghav ke saath saath Pallavi ka bhi hai, long way to go hai.

First up, I never knew we could tag people in our posts! Eureka!! 😆 Briefly, touching upon the points u raised (since its late night lol)

-Raghav is attracted to Pallavi and in leaps and bounces by every passing minute is no secret now. In my opinion, he is aware of his growing feelings for her too... duniya dekhi hai bande ne.. he knows women, all kinda women.. there are women like Anjali and there are also women jo duniya chala sakti hain.. Pallavi, he is just getting to know..but her resilience and fighting spirit, has already impressed her and today the blouse scene was another significant addition to the growing list of virtues he is discovering in her... he has seen women like Anjali who give in to momentary temptations and here he saw Pallavi..who was the complete opposite.. I dont know if its just me, but I felt he was purposefully giving her those smouldering sexy looks almost seducing her, standing inches away as if trying to see if his proximity affected her... which is why her '' tum me aisa kuch nai hai jo impressive ho'' made him smirk... She is really that clueless, which adds to her innocence charm that draws him.. But then he knows, where he stands and how Pallavi and her family perceive him to be, so obviously ''dur raho'' hahahah paas aya to mujhe tumhare pyar me padne se koi rok nai payega ...na tum na tumhara family., fir bethke rona nai.. '' I think thats what he meant when he warned her to keep distance.

- As far as baba goes, he is judgemental..like he has already judged Raghav based on a couple of interactions...Raghav will have to take punar janam as Raghupati Ram to get in his good books.. Baba will be a major hurdle..will have the biggest objection to RaghVi and one of the main reasons Pallavi will hesitate to admit her true feelings for Raghav in future.. Baba ko heart attack na aye isliye accounts ka jhut bola do saal tak... her true feelings for Raghav whenever that happens can be a bigger reason to give the guy a heart attack lol so she wont admit... not just that, she will have to first convince and assure herself that it is okay for her to fall in love again...

The way Baba reacted today. It is natural for a person to react in this type of way.

All this time, when Aai discussed about Pallavi's remarriage, I felt Baba didn't show much eagerness in that conversation. The genuine interest Aai has over Pallavi's marriage is not seen reciprocated from Baba's end too.

He might want to protect Pallavi from the wrath of the society by not pushing her into marriage.

Or he considers her to be the bahu of their house and is not into terms of accepting reality that their Bahu can leave them for another family.

Or he feels sending Pallavi off to another family means losing their daughter to someone

Or because Pallavi says she does not want to marry anyone and stay with this family, he just wants to respect her wishes.

Pallavi yearns to experience the love of parents through her in-laws. They, having lost their son are trying to have someone who can fill in the void of their lost son. Pallavi is doing things that Mandhaar would have done had he been alive.

Maybe this is the first time after Mandhaar that Pallavi's name is getting associated with another man that Baba's reaction was not composed enough or prepared enough to hear this.

Pallavi's faith in her in-laws that she lets them know the exact details of what happened between her and Raghav. She could have masked the details fearing the onslaught of judgements (she needn't have to explain things in detail and it would have still been fine). Also loved Aai for understanding Pallavi today.

I don't know re. Sometimes I feel this man is just overtly protective of Pallavi, or just a simple hypocrite. Sometimes I just feel that when the time comes he will actually turn around and support RaghVi, and her Aai will take a round about and go against her. This is what usually happens. Support coming from someone you least expect and your biggest support system turning against you.

Toxic is like the word of the day. Deshmukh family is for sure sick, but Raghav is no less. The way you worded his "dur raho" is so spot on. Dur raho, warna ek baar pakad liya to jaane nahi dunga, come hell or high water. I sometimes get confused as to who will fall for Pallavi, Raghav or Raghav Anna. You see both are the same, but both are vastly different. Raghav's core thought system is different than Raghav Anna. I feel Raghav Anna is attracted and Raghav is in love. But it will take a lot of work for Raghav Anna to walk the journey of being Raghav, the man Pallavi will grow to love. Raghav Anna will have to crumble for Raghav to come to the surface. Although, love means acceptance for overall person, but phir bhi Pallavi has to love the person, not the position, right. Once the person comes forward, position won't matter.

@purple: The fact that he would internally blame his DIL and not the man who followed her to the room says it all. Pallavi laid it out truthfully which shows that she has nothing to hide. It's obvious the FIL does not realize that he is still quite backwards no matter what he might say to the contrary. How quickly he has forgotten the interaction he witnessed between these two. Should be clear from that, that they have no interest in each other apart from throwing barbs and even if they do he should be happy because that's what he wanted. Should trust the young woman who has given everything to his fam to make the right decision.

@blue: So much as happened between them, he has done so much of which some were pretty traumatic. She lost her husband only 14 months ago, sure they barely knew each other but anything Raghav does will have a greater impact on her because her husband's sudden demise is still so raw. Liking him is out of the question.

@red: This is something I have felt since the beginning. Stated it in an earlier thread that Raghav comes across as the type of man who would develop obsessive/possessive tendencies. I see him as trying to force Pallavi to reciprocate and making her home life difficult due to his love. He will calm down later and let her be but initially he would try to force his love on her. I foresee him making assumptions about her feelings and employing annoying tricks to force her into confessing. I can hear him saying "Main janta hai woh bhi mujhse pyaar karta per bolta na hai, main uss se bulva ke rahe ga." I would be surprised if he doesn't go that route.

@UL - Honestly , I am up for it! I want him to take the challenge and fail badly in it so that the ice which has solidified over his heart breaks. Then only he will understand the power and concept of love between a man and a woman because due to a failed relationship (according to his words I have an idea) he thinks about it in a different way now. And after that he may backout and then fall in love with her and may win her heart❤️.

I so wish about this track but ITV has a weird way once a bad ML falls in love he becomes FL puppy🤡 does whatever she asks and according to her likes & dislikes. But I don't want this to happen with Raghav.
