I love this point that you make above, Sister. That Raghav is so secure that he has no problem acknowledging her virtues even when they are allegedly rivals. I think this was a good characterization by the writers---to depict an anti-hero who is can change his mind. It works.

Also I love the irony in your observation---Raghav vowed to protect the person who saved Amma's life and he is doing so without being aware of it. Love this.

I also like that the leads are depicting through their performance that Raghav and Pallavi are enjoying the challenge. On one level it is serious but Raghav appears to be enjoying that he has a worthy adversary. Of course, he also has the confidence that he will win.

And the end bit i liked how RR told pallu dir blouse ka button khula hai ...this guy is so direct bindaas and i loved how intensely he was looking at her not batting an eyelid as she moved away n was trying to fix her blouse. Prior to that when Pallu was giving mini lec the way he said suno ..very husband vibes in the tone ❤️😆

So coming to today, as I said, my points are being proven, although it was subtle.

Firstly, Raghav is deeply attracted to Pallavi and the strength of her character. He cannot keep himself away from her at any cost. Inspite of knowing and believing that "Pallavi has betrayed me", he is still drawn to her. Ye aadmi karega Pallavi ko barbaad. Tab to ho chuka Anna ka😆. Most of his dialogues reiterate that, "Mere saamne mat aana", "Hume ek dusre se dur rehna chahiye". Pallavi never said anything, its Raghav who has a potential problem. His feelings and attraction is his problem. Pallavi as always is the clueless person here. Uske mann me sirf uski shop ko lekar thoughts hai, Raghav ko lekar nahi. He hasn't impressed her in any way as much as Raghav is with her. The shit he has put her through, and will be putting her through when love comes in the way, cannot make Pallavi even like him.

Secondly, the "Blood is thicker than water" bit was also coming into play, sooner than I expected. Pallavi quite clearly expressed that Raghav came to help her, but FIL clearly was miffed. I don't know what bothered him most, Raghav helped his daughter, or Raghav helped his daughter-in-law?? Liberal and all is just truckload of BS. I am feeling it already, how liberal these people will be in the future, even if there is a sign of Mandaar in the equation. Dislike for Raghav is not the only problem. If Pallavi chooses Raghav, that too will be a problem. This family are a bunch of hypocrites. Only Aai seems to be okay, but I don't trust her either.

Although, it would be fun watching Raghav and Pallavi's "Dosti" wala scenario, I don't think its possible. Pallavi sees him as someone who has demeaned and ridiculed her for no fault of her own. Pallavi may become his friend, but not Raghav. Raghav who would care less to explain, is drawn in emotionally to Pallavi. He does not look like a person to go the friendship way, he will just jump to love. Infact, he would just play along this friendship thing for spending more time with Pallavi. And later, he would expect only "reciprocation" from Pallavi, nothing less for himself. It would be like challenge haar gaya, lekin dil jeet liya Pallavi ne. And if Farhad even tells him that Pallavi may not feel that way for him, Raghav would be like "She does not have a choice but to love me" and Pallavi rejecting him, will only aggravate this further. Raghav has a long way to go. What do you think guys???
