Yes. Realistically, Kartik should have been shown dedicating himself to his kids rather than running behind a stranger and getting involved with her family.

It’s only been a few months since Naira died. Even normal people take more time to move on from their spouses’ death. Here, Kartik will apparently move on within months despite the promises & claims he made to Naira.

Poor Naira & the kids. They already lost their mother & now their father would prioritise a stranger over them. Kairav at least is still being taken care of by Kartik, Akshu has been totally abandoned by him and left to the care of others.

Kaira survived multiple misunderstandings, divorces, weddings, just because they loved each other. Kartik's marriage to Vedika has been overlooked as a dark period in Kaira's life because though he was married to her, he never saw her his wife, never interacted with her, got friendly, etc.

With Sirat, he has no qualms whatsoever. There's no awkwardness when he's around her or when she's physically close to him. They have been interacting like they are best buddies. There's no guilt, no hesitation from Kartik's side. Its like he has accepted that Naira has died and he's all ready to move on.

This is just the beginning. Idek what's gonna happen after they get more close to each. Can't imagine the romantic scenes between them.

Its just sad to see that this might be the beginning of a very slow and painful death of Kartik's character.
