Once Virat knows, he will ensure that Devyani is rehabilitated. It may not be easy, but difficult problems require patience.

Sai does have some ego issues apart from her being impulsive and at instance immature.. To me getting married without even keeping Virat also in loop is nothing but an ego boost...I am right..I know-it-all and I will prove I am right...At times it does appear like Virat's existence doesnt matter to her...though thats not the case....Devi does not need marriage right now, especially the kind of tensions it would be accompanied with. But alas for Sai to realize where she is wrong it might takes re-incarnation 😔

This is the aspect of her personality that I don't understand completely. It is coming from her immaturity or as you say, from her ego or both. To me, both seem plausible.

Teenagers can be impulsive, even in important matters - I've known friends who interfere in sensitive matters when they were 17 only to realize how foolish they acted when they are 23.

If it is ego, why does she have such a compulsive need to be right? We all analyze where Virat's flaws are coming from - growing up in a toxic family. But where does Sai's this particular flaw come from?

I might completely be wrong here and probably also over analysing..

Sai has been a single child with a single parent that too a father.. Fathers are known to be more affectionate towards their daughters than their sons.. Fathers tend to not give a lashing(pitayi padna) when it comes to their daughters.. I know a lot of my friends who have been just sweetly reprimanded by their father..even in cases where they were at a huge fault.. In this case, Sai is not just an only daughter but the only family Mr. Joshi had.. I believe she was not reprimanded much or scolded for her tone, her impulse when she was right..I have been always told by my parents..that there is a way one should talk to others even when you know they are wrong and you right.. So I believe this did lack in their relationship..It did not appear from whatever we have seen of the father daughter relationship , Sai was not seriously punished or scolded for the wrongs.. In general Sai did not turn up to be bad daughter..but did develop the know-it-all attitude.. Plus she being a teenager adds to her arrogance and her impulse.. Teenagers get into matters and that too in a violent manner which do not concern them...I have had issues with the way she talks to Maushi as well.. At times she behaves in an extremely brash manner with her as well... She does appear to be a stubborn teenager.. This marriage that she plans to have between Devi and Pulkit , appears to have become more of her zidd than Devi tai ko insaaf dilana motto..

Sh is still in her character.. And she is shown to be impulsive and immature.. Considering her age and experiences in her life I can let her go..I still dont have much expectations from her.. when it comes to investigation, yes she is topper but then also young.. Being a topper doesnt means that your intuition skills your reasoning skills are bang on when it comes to all circles/difficulties of life.. She would need experience and age to reach there.. My belief completely.. I think about myself in 12th grade or first year of college , being extremely good in studies and yet being very judgmental and impulsive .. not understanding my parent's perspective a lot many times and now realize how right they were...now that I am of almost Virat's age.

And honestly when you are really good at studies.. its adds to the smart aleck attitude.. . So i guess that understanding comes with age and experience.. At that age one is extremely rebellious.. and believes I am right..Plus Sai has not been punished as such by her Abba for her impoliteness.. That adds to her brash behaviour..

I personally don't believe that her her tendency to be sharp-tongued and hurtful when angry is a result of her upbringing. I think its her in-born mental makeup. I've seen people like her (they are not to be commonly found!) who share her other qualities - extremely self-aware, confident, rebellious, hurtful when angry even though their parents have instilled discipline. This is their uniqueness and with age and guidance these people learn to control their natural urges to better adapt to the world.

I'm also not sure if her zidd has become bigger than insaaf for Devyani. Her primary goal still seems to be to get justice for Devyani. I think she is trusting on instinct regarding Pulkit. I think the problem is that her ego is preventing her from looking at things from different perspectives. Or is it the problem of her age and immaturity. I don't know .....

i dont think for sai her ego is bigger than justice. cuz when she herself went to pakhi's house and said sorry and promised her to not do her bezzati etc just cuz virat seemed dull and sad. that scene proves that to sai apnon ki kushi is the first priority.

we will see this in future episodes also where pakhi will continue to hurt her and still sai thinks good for her and forgives her always.

regarding pulkit's matter i actually stopped watched episodes but did see one or two video clips on insta, based on that i guess she saw the evidence and believed him as i saw pulkit showing the records and devi's name in it. as per KD pulkit tells sai the whole story on what and how it all happened with devi and him and about harini etc..which is upcoming. after that only she promises both pulkit and devi to unite them. she even tries to talk to virat about it but virat was not ready to talk about it or listen to her, then pakhi enters and she adds fuel to the fire. so sai is left with no choice than eloping devi and get her married to pulkit. she never hesitated to question pulkit till now, she always asked him questions to get a clarity on things that she was not sure about.

I dont blame the upbringing per say ..It just that I think she has not been scolded enough.. Extremities can also make people rebellious..too much of control or no control at all.. Either way its harmful.. Also she had the understanding with her father..where she was heard..understood ,not discarded in name of her being bacchi and mature..So it kind of worked there..Here in real sense I dont know if anyone apart from Aayi understands her..

Coming to the zidd part..it mostly seems like its zidd from her end.. but I am sure its not that..We have seen her love for Devyani..She has been most vocal about her love for her Tai followed by her Aayi..So may be she really believes marriage is the only way out and she is not understanding that Devi actually in this state might not know what's right or wrong for her.. In all this if she goes with marriage without keeping him in loop , even if the decision proves to be a correct one later on..She is not doing justice to what has been established in their relationship till date..

I also don't believe her ego is bigger than justice. What is bothering me is Sai taking a unilateral decision - which she has absolutely no right to do. She can intensify her investigation and dig out proofs that will convince Virat to support her. But she is taking an impulsive route - is it immaturity or her over-confidence?

i understood ur point. 😆

i guess the investigation will be done in upcoming episodes if the articles are to be believed. still, if we see not everyone who investigates can catch the culprit. upar se like Virat said both pulkit and devi are majors so dont need anyone permission to get married. here devyani loves pulkit and pulkit loves devyani.

i know devyani is mentally unstable, and many are wanting her to be cured first as she is not in the position to take such important decisions about her life. but here we need to see from the POV that devi ki haalat hi ayisi hai cuz she got separated from her husband and child and chavans are feeding her wrong medicines which is of no good for her. she is not going to get well jab tak woh CN mein hai. virat is of no use as uske naak ke neecha ithna sab ho raha tha still he had no clue about anything and sai college jaati hai kudh ke kaam hai no one can take 24/7 care of devyani when kaku and gang mauke ki talaash mein baite rehte hai to harm her.

someone told me that devi tries to jump off the balcony in KD, if they show something like that there then sai will definitely have reasons to want her to get married to pulkit ASAP. cuz jab tak woh saare investigation etc karti saboot laati pata nay thab tak Chavans kya kaand karte.

it may not be about the right she has and full of logical acts but she is taking sensible decision. why would she put herself into trouble if she has any other choice?😆

i mean she has all the info need to belive that pulkit is the right guy after he tells her the whole story, he showed her proof the devi is only his wife, and will tell her harini's story also before she escapes devi from CN so she has no reason to not do it. only draw back is that virat is against it too. but sai is sach ka saath dene waali, so can't help it.

@bold Agree 100%

I understand how being too lenient can make children wilful. But I still feel her rebellious nature is part of her inherent mental makeup. I have two nieces - brought up by same parents who have instilled both of them with discipline. Yet, one of then is like Sai in many ways - wilful, rebellious and has to be handled gently (as Ashwini says!). Despite all the disciplining, she cannot shed her inherent nature - only close family members are privy to that. Ofcourse, in cases where Sai goes over the limit it may be due to her father being too lenient. Perhaps it is a combination of her inherent nature plus lenient parenting. Anyways I'm enjoying this discussion. 🤗
