I beg to differ here Ziva. For me, NOTHING gives a husband the right to slap his wife. Esp since Vir knows that Karan is evil & is trying to frame Purvi. If he believes the video, divorce her, leave her, throw her out of the house...but raising his hand is inexcusably in my eyes.
