Ustadon ke Ustaad: Sony dirty politics

Actually today's episode was absolutely ridiculous. The judges gave 2 or 3 points to all Star One "Laughter Challenge" contestants. It was complete nonsense. Some of them were not that bad, I dont know what the judges were thinking giving such ridiculous low scores.

You know, I think that this is all production house gimmicks. Sony TV which owns "Comedy Circus" must be behind the exceedingly low marks given to Star One "Laughter Challenge" contestants to in order their shows look better. There is no other logic for such biased scores.

Javed Akhtar is a judge for Indian Idol on Sony TV, same for Javed Jaffrey who is a judge on Sony's Boogie Woogie. As for Saroj Khan, her paycheck for this show is given by Sony producers. So, all of them are probably just doing what they were told to do.

Did you notice that in most cases they even wrote the scores before the contestant finished. TOO MUCH!!!!

Rauf Lala was not good ,but the rest were quite good--none of them deserved 2 or 3 at least!!! While, the judges gave consistently better scores to Comedy Circus contestants and gave consistently lower scores to Star One contestants. Such bias!!!!!

See, no wonder shows have public voting! Even though, public votes can be manipulated, but still it is much better than the bias the judges display on such shows.

Mark my words, the the same thing will happen tomorrow with Indian Idol (which is Sony program) and Saregama (Zee TV program).

The judges will give Emon and Amit higher scores than Raja and Mauli, just because they are Sony channel contestants.

It disgusts me to see such network politics, but there is no other explanation for the way the contestants were treated in the Comedy round!
I wonder why Sony put up this show in the first place if they were hell bent on such partiality towards their own contestants?
Oh wait...I know why. TO SHOW THEIR SHOWS ARE BETTER!!👏

Well let's just see if the same thing happens today with Indian Idol Vs. Saregama. If the judges again give lower scores to Mauli and Raja, compared to Emon and Amit, then something is definitely going on.
We all know that Raja is a brilliant singer, so if the judges give him lower scores than Emon and Amit, you know then that something is definitely wrong!

But they were also very critical of the winners of the comedy circus Ali and kashib(not sure of his name) and I think they got 2/10 from javed akhtar which was the least of anyone.

Conspiracy theorists are in full force here. The fact is that all the performances were atrocious. Shakeel and Urvashi were not 3 to 4 times better and deserved lower marks as well.

That said, I believe the marks (2 - 4) were extremely low. They should have been in the range of 6-7 and Urvashi and Shakeel should have received 8. That would have been more equitable.

However, I do not believe there was any conspiracy. The performances were not that great. It was a poor show. I do think though that the judges lack a sense of humor and tactfulness in providing their comments. There is no need to be insulting. These guys are their job and the judges should be respectful and mindful of that.

Exactly, I would have been okay if they gave the Laughter Challenge contestants 4 or 5, but 2 is too low. Also Urvashi and Shakeel were not that great either. The contrast was too noticeable and random!

The dirty politics here is that they are selecting wrong contestants from other reality shows...

Now, Emon and Amit are the best singers so are Toshi and Sumitra.. Now you will ask how come Toshi and Sumitra become part of Sony... The point here is Toshi and Sumitra belong to VOI which is directed by Gajji and he is starting a contest in Sony called Waar parivaar... So, now you know why Mauli and Raja were called.. Raja is fine, but Why not Poonam??? She is a singer par excellence.. How can they allow Mauli to compete with Sumitra while they very well know Sumitra is better singer than Mauli...

Personally, I don't know about the conspiracy thing but I think everyone deserved low marks yesterday. No one was really funny at all and the jokes were way too disgusting. I mean come on it is a family show. There was not a single performer that did not involve a part of their act into bedroom jokes and to me that is not tasteful at all. Also, it is not that they couldn't avoid them as they proved in the last portion; I think that was the only truly funny part of the episode where they were talking about reality shows. So, if they could do that then, then why not before??? I mean to me it was just sick.
