Putting my two cents here. Please don't kill me. This is just my personal interpretation from a less obvious perspective. I really don't know what is in the minds of makers and channel and what are they going to show for their race in trp. I owe this point of view to Ashley_m 😊

Yesterday I was furious and pissed off with Ani's love confession. I was already disgusted with Ani and Ani-Bon scenes after his night time recollection of AE and caressing cheeks 🤢. Patnidharam nibhanevali Bon and Ani's love confession were the last nails in the coffin for me till I came across Ashley's post.

I was thoroughly confused with his feelings for AE, a complete stranger and calling her zindagi bhar ka prem in first sight and couldn't find any justification for it. I could understand his feelings for Mini which was justifiable to an extent. I was feeling that he was cheating on innocent Bon and really hated that second hug scene.

Now I'm trying to look at it from another perspective. He is in love with his concept of ideal woman. A woman having the qualities of honesty, loyalty, selflessness, brave, independent, questioning injustices, fighting for the right causes and dedicated to bring some changes in society. First he was trying to find these in Mini and was feeling betrayed by her after knowing her real nature. Now suddenly one woman came in front of him who seems to possess all these qualities and he was drawn towards her. Again falling for the image he had created in his mind. Not at all different from Mini situation.

Interestingly he did the same thing with the patrwali ladki also. He kept on thinking about her all the time;couldn't even answer Batuk's question whom did he love the most. Since it was Bon we all enjoyed it. Technically at that time he was cheating on Mini. Again a similar situation. So clearly he is in love with his concept of ideal woman,whom he loves the most.

Later he came to know Bon as the letter girl. He knew that she is the real life epitome of his ideal woman. Now life has placed him in a tricky situation. His ideal woman is in front of him as his wife but unfortunately she turned out to be a child. The principled ARC can never even think about falling for a kid. I think he is trying his level best for not falling in love with a child Bon. Honestly ARC falling for a kid will be utterly repulsive. So he kept their relation away from the usual expectations till the SR fiasco when everything went out of his hands.

I think subconsciously he knows he can never be away from Bon. She is his necessity to live. I feel he is trying to make a compromise between his principles and feelings by naming her his first priority and life long responsibility.

Phew...too much complex emotions and relations.

I too felt that this would have been a better track with an adult Bon. Now think about Bon baby's embarrassment when she will know the real meaning of all the things she fought with Ani 🤣

The way it was shown, ITV takes these things very seriously. He was shown to be actually in "love" with her. The portrayal looked like the confession a hero about his heroine (sorry, but this is the case in Hindi serials). Also, it was made clear in yesterday's episode, through Ani's perspective, the outburst was not a result of the SR fiasco but due to Ani's growing emotions for AE as to why he did not want to behave like a married person in his anniversary, even when during all of this functions he happily agreed to do so.

@bold- If love consists only of romance and attraction (which surely is the case) then it would have been repulsive. Ani was of a progressive mind, showing and accepting a platonic love would have been progressive and path-breaking for TV shows (which this show claims to have). But then even if they wouldn't have shown it, we were happy in our own Rudhita world, had our own emotions. What was the need of bringing up such a track?

After all these things, I highly doubt whether they will explore these complicated emotions because they already seem to go in the path of a cliched ITV drama.

This is completely my perspective and I do not want to impose this on anyone. But if you are already in love (even if is platonic), no other feelings can overpower it. 😊

I've already mentioned this is my personal view and I absolutely have no idea about the makers' intension. I was just trying to analyze the character and view the situation from the "current villain's " perspective. 😊

About his behavior with AE; didn't he do the similar things for the letter girl while being in a relationship with Mini? 😉 Since we loved Ani-Bon we appreciated it and now it is for another person we hate it. He is basically doing the same thing but our reaction is different based on our personal likes and dislikes. 😊

I'm not justifying anyone. Just pointing out the other side of the situation. 😊

I do not think the principal problem lies with Anirudh getting attracted to someone👍🏼when he has already done worst !

EOD it's a biological response, a bodily reaction👍🏼

EOD our endocrine is not in our hands👍🏼

EOD that is attraction, EOD that is superficial,EOD that is infatuation though absolutely not justified , EOD that is cheating👍🏼

EOD thats his very modus operandi to substantiate his greatness and grandeur👍🏼

EOD thats his very strategic move that manifests into his self sacrifice and sense of renunciation👍🏼

Because EOD he will always choose liability over love👍🏼

But what is contemptible and disgust worthy is the way he maltreated her, dismantled her dignity and assassinated her self esteem ,her self respect and made a complete mockery out of her existence and identity in front of every other outsider and passersby👍🏼

I may not raise a question on his character and congenital disposition of getting carried away at the sight of myriad "ideal women" , but the unchangeable truth is that he has hit the lows from where there's absolutely no reinstation👍🏼

My displeasure and vexation against Anirudh started storing up since the day he confidently demeaned his relationship with Bondita infront of an arbitrary individual of the village👍🏼

Further , he didn't even bother to give a damn to the aftermath of the horrendous dirt he smeared 👍🏼

He was busy self conflicting and deducing his real feelings and never cared about the trauma and pain engulfing the child👍🏼

And no matter what , from whichever angle left-right-centre-parallel- perpendicular-diagonal-metacentre- centroid , I see , I analyze , I introspect he comes across as an outright fence-sitter,rather an indecisive flawed man in and out trying to envelope and ensheath his blunders between the folds of ethics and ideals 👍🏼
