They have a contract to abide by and whatever the story maybe, they get paid tons for it and that’s what matters in the long run.

It’s a top rated show, making him huge backs every month, especially in today’s competitive industry where there’s no guarantee if shows will last and be successful. He has nothing to lose really & Kartik’s character is still better in terms of content than most MLs in ITV.

THIS. THIS is the essence of it; there are soooooooo many posts all over the place stating that Mohsin needs to do something else and is wasting his talent as Kartik BUT 1. SP is a MAJOR channel and who knows what channel his next show will be on 2. SP and RS will do whatever it takes to keep YRKKH on air for as long as possible 3. There is no guarantee what he does next will last, as you said.

And the pay check Mohsin takes home every month makes up for a lot of crazy crappy tracks.

I understand people want to see him in other roles but I also actually prefer Kartik to numerous other male leads on ITV;

As for the storyline; it just is not something i want to watch. I agree that Sirat is really loud; and always shouting. If Kartik falls for her, i will be really annoyed. I would rather she ends up being Naira.

I think more than contract.. Shivangi and mohsin are grateful to RS for giving them KaiRa which makes them not to speak against show.. Shivangi still has a scope to develop sirat properly but I feel it's high time for mohsin to leave the show if he gets an opportunity before he ages further... I am sorry to barge in your conversation here, but I kind of disagree with you on actors not making transition to big screen. Besides SSR, there are others too like Shahrukh, Irfan Khan, Vidya Balan, Vikrant Massey, Prachi Desai, R. Madhavan, Amit Sadh who have made quite an impact. And others who still are making a name like Radhika Madan, Barun Sobti, Tahir Raj Basin. If you would look into more prominent character roles in quite few movies one cannot deny the presence of Sharad Kelkar, Ronit Roy, Rohit Roy, Ram Kapoor, Varun Badola and a lot more. Coming to nepotism, it will only take you to the door, you need to find your path yourself. And it exists in all walks of life. People who have talent will always shine. One of the top actors in bollywood right now are Ayushman and Taapsee both with no family lineage. If Moshin really wants I believe he will find his way through.

Yeah and with parth making a movie and Zain in web series there is quite a scope outside TV shows for him.. he could at least do more music videos and short films like shivi to explore his talent...but then he must be trying these avenues as he constantly keeps telling that he wants to cater more to his fans and also that he is focusing on his career...I guess we just have to wait and watch...Things sometimes don't materialize easily and take time...
