Yup sad, sugary scenes won't work for anyone. The whole audience is fed up. Veer doesn't act like the male lead in any way or form. Even if they showed some guilt or sadness post the yelling session, it would have appeared more natural. Now it's like confirmed that he is fighting for the villain award 🤣
Veer still doesn't believe he did anything wrong. His childhood obsession with winning ranisa over is blinding him to the truth. He is operating under the fear of losing ranisa's love. This is natural from a psychological point of view.
Ranisa is displaying symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Narcissists are master manipulators. It's not easy to escape their influence specially when you feel indebted to them.
While I hate what's happening I do feel for veer. Tomorrow he might get angry or simply go crazy unable to process the information that was just offered. But one thing I am sure of is no matter what his reaction is ranis words will haunt him until he begins to see the truth. Veer already trusts rani. Rani can be careless but she is no liar. Not in this scale. Tomorrow will be interesting.
