Re: consoling herself....haan I felt so bad for here there too....bechaari akeli hai once again trying to manage such a tough situation....I think that's part of why she has so much emotional/mental strength too.....Adi ko galatfehmi hai that Imlie is one of those girls looking for a sahara....when she told him she is capable of doing everything ALONE, she meant it....abhi yahaan bhi she is bracing herself to manage sab kuch khud se even though she knows how hard it will be to smile through all her pain....but isko aadat hai zindagi ke itne saare setbacks ke through smile karne ki. I hope Adi starts to understand that about her better....

More than love, more than any confession....the day Adi starts to give understanding to Imlie is the day I think she will be the most touched.

LOL yes, the similarities become more obvious when you hear the songs back to back😆....but chalo for a change, sahi jagah se inspiration le rahe hain....melody toh mostly puraane gaano mein thi compared to the remix/auto-tune crap everywhere these days😆.....Lata Mangeshkar ki awaaz in this song.

I dunno Gul ko kya bukhaar chadhaa that she decided to go so retro with her show ka theme song for a change but they've struck gold with this one😆 *touchwood*.....everytime I hear the song, the yearning in the lyrics is so touching....Imlie ki puri journey hai us song mein...."Piya tose milne, chhoda hai saara jahaan".....it has such a lovely old school emotions waali vibe to it jo aaj kal kahin mushkil se hi dikhti hai😆.

With adi yes he has seen women like malini who despite all their outlook and independent image ke apna kamati hai apna khaati hai apna job hai say hai is so emotionally dependent and cannot handle herself even for like am hour without getting validation from the ones around her.. so isko imlie aur imlie jaisi strong women ki resellience ka andaza hi nahi hai.. what lifts adi up here and works in his favor is he doesn't consider her kamzor or is misogynist so to say ke ladki hai toh kamzor hai not at all he just gives worries about her getting in trouble due to her past experiences around him with her tendency to go for the good and get trapped herself 😆 dusra her lack of experience of bahaari Dunia which again is do dhaari taller of sorts her Amma and now adi and tripathis too may have prevented her from social dangers prevalent in the society but none of them could prevent her from the constant reminder of the trauma she faces and yeah sure they all try to be nice and ate loving the very fact that she can't trust any of them.with her absolute trust is heartbreaking.. she maybe physically choti si but her lack of kisi bhi sache dost ka Hina has made her strong enough to brave all the outside hawa.. she has gotten only stronger with time.. the imlie who was so numb to be thrown out of the gaoon in a way like that today has gained the himmat to come back with her head held high ca she knew her Sachaai.. and that is not to say she wasn't emotionally strong before thi but woh tab ki bachi jo thi jo ek.dum shake ho gayi thi with the suddenness of it all today can prepare and handle herself better for the uncertainties.

Me too I wish adi gets to see that more and appreciate how she is the real deal the real.sherni and not some.random tag worthy like now is the norm to call every other damsel.in distress on TV for her 2 line bhashan..

Same it is just so refreshing unlike any other theme song.. and which is why the very first hearing of the song it strikes a chord the tune and lyrics stay with you.. I think it also helps that Pamela's voice has that similarity with Lata ji's voice too kaafi milti justice si hai in terms of texture of tone.. that badan se khusboo aaye line is almost exact same here in terms of composition the lyrics have changed but yeah it took me a while to not sing original lines when the tune started..

I think gul went with this caz of the gaoon wala feel and am glad it is so earthy and classy and retro almost a classic old is gold song feel unlike the random bhojpuriya nonsense she bajaooes elsewhere

With imlie yes what else does she need than itna bhi ke iske BS aaue toh sahi.. he will.probably make some.bahana ke kaam tha toh aa gaya and checked upon you casually but yeh toh itne main hi saari zindagi kaat le ke iske BS aaye toh sahi.. sach a bholi masoom girl she is...this very quality makes one want to.proyect her..
