In this case, it really wasn’t about ego. He didn’t say sorry because he still hasn’t understood where he went wrong. He can see her hurt, but he thinks she’s misunderstanding his words and leaving over that.

And I don’t think Imlie was even expecting an apology from him there. She doesn’t want his sorry.....she wants him to give her UNDERSTANDING. And that is something very tough for him right now cuz he himself is yet to understand why he is feeling so broken and upset over her leaving.

This entire bus scene was about Adi’s instinct taking over his mind. Dimaag se nahin, dil se react kiya. And his heart is still confused and does not have answers for Imlie’s questions or expectations. All his heart knew in that moment was that he couldn’t bear to see her leaving. So he only focused on stopping her from leaving.

Here all are rambling abt realtionship status of Addi n Imli. Poor me still stuck on hw does Imli knw how to repair a bus???🤪😆

Bingo😆.....and again, all this doesn't make her a bad person....but this is the basic sum of her personality and the extent to which she has built her life around Adi.....she has become so used to measuring herself mostly in accordance with what pleases him or keeps him attached to her that she probably hasn't realized when it has made her behavior patterns become so superficial. Exactly... She only reacts when he does as if its a validation that this thing is important and she needs to intervene. The other thing is, she is so dependent for her thinking on other people. Its either her dadi, her father or Adi. Every time Anu says things or she feels things, she needs validation from one of these people that things are not how her mother is showing it to her or she is seeing them. With finding Aditya or Imlie too, her go-to solution was to call her father. It was not call the police or the office or look on the roads or go to the jalebi guy. Even with the trust convo, she wanted Aditya to validate her mother's talk and to tell her whether she should keep trusting him or no or when she should not trust him. This was after he already explained to her that he was working. Its good Aditya has this guilt in him, anybody else would have just lost it. Hence, I feel with her, the truth will have to be very explicit and it will have to come from Aditya. She will see things, detect it but will never ask for confirmation. Her confirmation would always be these roundabout conversations.

Right - but I don't think that even Imlie wants status quo no? She cannot deal with the situation any more than he can. It's reached a point where they just cannot all happily live under the same roof - not with AC not giving it a moments rest.

What Adi and Imlie needed to do was talk to each other - and assess options with both of their priorities and belief's in mind and arrive at a solution (ideally before the marriage with Mun) But he shut her off then and dictated his steps - and Imlie went along with it. Maybe each was worried about what opening up the can would bring and preferred to kick it down the road - not sure. Imlie could have raised the 'what next' question as well earlier than simply assume and give Adi the lead in their lives and leaving it to SM. What was Imlie's thinking - that she would live under the T's roof for the rest of her days after studying, earn a living, contributing to the expenses, caring for Adi-Mun's children?? She says - she understands Adi' point that it cannot happen - thats why even though she puts the right questions to him today - she does not fully blames him. What more could Adi have done? Does she have expectations that Adi should tell his family and Mun and have a 2 wife situation? It's an untenable situation now.

I don't think Adi has fully realized his feelings for Imlie...only now is he going to understand with his head what his heart has recognized for a while. Till now in his head he married a girl under duress and loved another and he was justified in marrying her. Now the situation will reverse, he will realize he is married to Mun but loves his first wife and furthermore cannot live without her. Also he has intrenched himself deep into the marriage with Mun and also made promises of all kinds that he will now be hard pressed to keep.

What baffles me is what will he say to Imlie to bring her back. Nothing less than an acceptance of being her husband will work. Is he ready to do that now? Will his mind awake to that extent in the next couple of days? That means he is embracing the 2 wives reality of his life. So next phase of story is acceptance of 2 wives - bring Imlie back home - then same realization that it cannot work for different reasons - he now cannot keep his feelings for Imlie hidden....leading to then what....Mun leaving their lives?

What a mess our BS has made. Looking forward to next week's episodes.

@bold: LOL I disagree. I don't think she needs an acceptance of him as her husband to come back😆.....they are not at that stage yet. As usual, destiny will intervene with some twist/excuse to bring her back.....my guess is it will likely be her exams/education. Adi will take back his suggestion of "please find another husband"😆 and that will be it for now....they will find another way of calling truce and she will come back.😆

The story moved a bit in these epis but it hasn't moved to that level to bring such a sea change in the equations....Adi is only just beginning to recognize that he feels restless if Imlie leaves.....so his focus will be on bringing her back for now......and after that we will get a sense of how he feels torn between Imlie and Malini.

Next phase will be the development of feelings I think.....both Imlie's and Adi's.....it won't be about acceptance of two biwis....it will be a recognition that figuring out Imlie's future/place in his life is a work in progress but he can't let her leave also.....iske aage detail mein itna nahin sochega yeh😆......the guilt thrall of Malini hasn't really started to fade yet so that will continue in parallel.

Yeah, I don't think she will even think of snatching malini didi's husband adi. She has no expectations from him. That's why she left him. She is tired of lying from Tripathi's. Unhi ke ghar mein reh kar aur kitne din sach chupati. Now Tripathi's are out of picture for her so she can focus on herself. Kuch din toh chain se jiye. 😆 Adi's Character is a big mystery. He switches from one personality to another. Adi kitna change hua aaj ke separation ke baad yeh Monday episode se pta chalega. 😛
