Same. I heard that pretty much all my life. I am not sure where it comes from. It's gross, racist and offensive in my opinion. Few years ago researchers analyzed 2.4 million heterosexual interactions on some dating apps and found out people were least interested in Indian men and black women.

As for dating apps - what can you expect? People rely on stupid notions which btw are filled into us by media - western and Indian on what “good looking” is and dating apps rely only on looks as an indicator of interest. Show me a dating app where you never post pics, those are the “real” couples.

I don’t care if Indian men are the worst looking as long as they know both self respect and respect for others.

I would be more interested in a study that showed Indian men on top in such research. We can scream racism and be offended and colorisim as long as we have some strong feet to stand on.
