Sai is clear,and she has the strength to accept the truth,her husband doesn't want her expect from him then fine. She has accepted it a d built a wall to respect his decision. But she is rightfully giving back to people who show her love,even though she could have protested or why should she? And as you said ,since she begins it,she also continues it with or without Virat.

Unlike someone,for whom time and space work differently. She is stuck and is selfish.
