the operation does have risks...maybe he’s concerned about her safety...also Virat long ago accepted heer as a kinnar..and that they won’t have children, etc...So he probably doesn’t want her to go through this major surgery just for him.. Also you know when heer came to know she was a kinnar...Virat said this dialogue...that now that she knows she’s a kinnar there’s nothing to stop them from expressing and showing their love...I think he meant physical intimacy...so he wasn’t put off by her body..he knew what to expect and he has accepted her the way she was...and they as a couple could have their own kind of personal physical intimacy between them.. So I think Virat had long ago accepted heer as kinnar.. he has made peace with her identity.. Virat loves her very much and she loves him too...when she found out she was a kinnar..she was disgusted with herself and viewed herself as worthless ....and parmeets treatment of her,..telling her that she’s a curse, unclean etc,..can’t be a proper wife to Virat or give them grandkids etc...made it worse..so she left Virat so he could have a fulfilled life...but after she saw his terrible mental state she realised that he’ll never be happy without her, So they reunited,...I can understand and accept this. But now the makers just need to keep heer and Virat together always...After the way they built up Virats character..which I think was very good ..they need to keep his character consistent..Virat will never leave or desert heer due to her being a kinnar because he has long ago accepted that identity of hers and realised that he’ll only be happy and fulfilled as long as heer is with him...that’s what the jharna track was about,.
