That’s exactly how I feel. When I hear him sing, I feel no power in his voice that moves me. Yes, he has a nice singing voice but I don’t feel the intensity. I feel the power when I hear Udit, Kumar Sonu, KK, and Arjit.

Sonu any day.

Udit was good but had a very nasal edge to his songs

Sonu is a better singer but Udit has more charm in his voice.

So it’s interesting, becos just few days ago, I was listening to Dil Se soundtrack and after so many years, the voice that holds itself is Sonu Nigam’s. Udit doesn’t even come close. Of course Sukhbir is way superior. But I think you must listen to ARR’s compositions to really know whose voice still holds.

The thing is when it comes to melody, Udit has a certain charm, but when it comes to technically sound that has a longevity in voice and not song, it’s Sonu Nigam
