But if one plays the baccha role then how can his/her father/mother lookalike can play love interest..madhubala was an exception and that too a bad one..

It will be a fresh story or else leap with no dot dot

Look I don't think ki generation leap hoga kyunki most of the supporting cast bhi hai toh generation leap mein toh vo set nhi bthegi aur na hi rebirth mein......

Toh ya toh simple leap hoga after separation ya reboot hoga.....

Do hi option hai....
