The Goenkas are the worse judge of character, for them Aditya was a gem and Naira and Naksh were not worthy. Even now they are calling Sirat a gold digger while Riya the actual gold digger is is their apni. I don't understand Manish's hatred for Sirat...she didn't do anything for them to hate her but they seem to have harboured the hatred from the moment she step foot in their house, they don't trust her ok fine but the hatred I'm sorry just cuz she's poor. I haven't watched the episode but I'm sure Sirat won't slap Manish on purpose and that Riya is some how the root cause of what happened. But if Kartik wants Sirat to come back then he should learn to shut his family's mouth especially his dadi and dad who seem to be more concerned about Nairas property and jewellery than her children.

And fans are happily accepting Sirat constantly physically attacking Kartik & slapping Manish as 'deserved' or funny. But Kartik smashing a basketball at Sirat's face or Manish slapping Sirat for her crass behaviour in any situation wouldn't have been half as acceptable.

The times he got hit were an accident. It wasn't funny, it was stupid tbh. Yes she's extremely impulsive and aggressive and she should use her words before getting physical and lashing out. Consider that the girl is in trauma, she was abandoned when she was young by her mother and left alone - her only outlet was boxing. She's too young to be dragged into a house to play the role of a mother, something you pointed out yourself - she needs therapy. She's being dragged around, first they bring her in, next they kick her out, then they'll bring her back. Like tf? & actually the other way around CONSTANTLY happens in ITV, women are always manhandled and shaken by male leads and it's always deemed romantic.

Manish DID 'deserve' to be slapped, he is constantly overstepping boundaries and his classism is disgusting. It was long overdue tbh. Also I think you missed the part where it was an accident? (Which is too bad.) Slapping in ITV is also normalized but equating it to ACTUAL physical assault is too much - this is not it.

I've always cringed at men 'passionately' manhandling their women too. Part of the reason why YRKKH is one of the very few shows I watch on ITV, never hardcore stanned Kaira, & now am so immensely disappointed in Sirat's character.

Naitik accidentally brushing Akshara's face in an argument was considered a huge deal. Naksh yelling at Tara was considered unimaginably disrespectful. CVs ramped up the stakes with Goenka's saying ruder things & Kaira being more brash in their fights. But now this Sirat? It's disgusting & not YRKKH. No matter how much other shows normalise it. The final slap might have been accidental but she repeatedly charged towards Manish before that (as Rhea blocked her) & we've already seen why the Puncheshwari does that.

Sirat's trauma only provides context to her behaviour. Doesn't excuse it. I have no love lost for Manish. In fact cheered when Gayu dragged him through the mud. But again, no verbal allegation calls for a physical reaction. No one has trapped Sirat in Goenka Villa against her will. She's free to go live in a dharamshala. And under no circumstance would the audience accept Kartik repeatedly hitting Sirat in a 'funny' way, let alone cheer on it. Slapping, punching, & throwing hard stuff at people's faces is physical harassment by all definitions. That is not why we started tuning into this show. It's now time to tune out.

Gayu using her words showed all of them the mirror was a good scene (till it got hijacked by Kartik’s “sacrifice.”)

Here Sirat’s behavior is so off putting. I feel like I am watching some colors show set in some super regressive village (at least those shows also have a theme). This one is just crass now.

She didn’t even apologise for the slap. It was brushed under the rug like everything else she has been doing.

She could have walked out with dignity, said she’s sorry for hitting him though it was unintentional, but instead she created another huge ass scene.

To the people who wonder why Kartik is most liked, this is the reason! He made a mistake, realised he was wrong and now will go out of his way to make up for it.
