I went and rewatched to see Veer's part . You are right. he was angry at Rani Sa and I think Rani Sa slowly unintentionally giving away herself to Veer . Hope when the rift happens Veer thinks about all of this.

He trusts her and now knows her too and that's why he wasn't convinced at the end and must have followed Rani to Jai.

More than the Baliya trip it is Ranisa's acceptance that changed veer. This was ranisa's biggest mistake.

You can refuse to give a child something and he may be upset for a while but will get over it. You let the child have something and take it away after he gets attached to it - the child will hate you for it. The same thing will happen with veer. When the truth comes out it will hurt him. He will lose any respect he had for her. It will be a major eye opening for him.

Plus with khumuds truth out he will have no reason to turn to ranisa again. Finally it will all be ranisa's loss. Ranisa lost a great son.
