My trailer review -

Okay first of all Karan looks so freaking HOT *fanning my face* ☺️

I have missed Asad Ahmed Khan and his one liners - Aapke saath hua hai na aap serious kyun nahi hai?! 🤣

And some of our predictions have come true 😎

Asad is a secret agent, he goes on a mission for his country and happens to fall in love and maybe the being in love part is a also supposed to be trick to bring Zoya to India but he actually falls in love with her (EK THA TIGER ka vibe aa raha hai)

And boss Asad’s dialogues were so intense our man looks so intense 🤩 (can’t wait for the series to watch more of him)

My only complain - Shirtless Asad Ka glimpse nahi dikhaya but koi nahi intezaar kar lenge show ke on aur hone ka.. sabar ka phal saxy hota hai when it comes to K Ke abs ke darshan 🥺

Story ke bare mein I think it will basically be a mix of season one and some Bollywood movies Ka tracks so it’s kind of predictable so I am thoda disappointed but theek hai karan ko dekhne milega bas aur kya chahiye 🥺🥺🥺

Story wise I am not technically disappointed minus the India Phase one which one was a totally let down. Like There is still no point in having Dilshad Najma and Rashid Shirin and their nonsensical dramatics. They weren't required. Nor will they be.

They had to do something that suits everyone without much controversy. Yehi Raazi Ek Tha Tiger mix hi milega 🤣

Hola people, trailer is out. Zee didi doing her old dramatics ugh!

But coming to the trailer can I say I love it? Actually loving it is an understatement. I mean the trailer is so damn addictive! No wonder it is crossing 2lkh organic views that even Indian as it's not an international link, in less than 20 hrs!

Coming to the entire thing, I AM SO GLAD AND SO RELIEVED to see this story isn't a continuation, rather a fresh take! And I am so glad, both of them, AAK2.0 & ZF2.0 are totally different characters! And the show is just having the names same. It would have been difficult without GK to anyway shape both AAK and ZF as they were her babies.

Coming to AsYa first the USP. Much much much glad nonsense people were ignored. Aka Rashid and Dilshad and all that crap which is actually really not required in a storyline like this but the ITV mentality kahan jayega? Kheechne ke liye daalenge aur kya!

AsYa the USP, a very well introduction is given. And the fact that the trailer has said this is Asad's story, an Asad stan like me is Over the top pleased.

Asad gets into the mission saying Qubool Hai but banda Qubool Hai sahi mein bol payega ki nahi gets punctured at the mere mention of Islamabad 😏🤣 haan aur kar ishq tu 😏 your previous version said Ishq WaqtZaya karne ka zariya hai, you didn't take him seriously 😂 (just wanted to use the punch line here😂) okay jokes aside, but that one dialogue, Hindustani Dhokha Nahi Dete is gonna play a huge role in the show imo. Or else Zoya being from Pakistan and all doesnt make sense. This gets deepened towards the end when he asks Zoya to come along with him when she gets to know he has killed her father who actually is the main villain target. Though i don't think he actually killed him as great way to keep the story open ended, but then the hero killing the villain is nothing new. Anyway it is established that Zoya'a father is the villain or one of the villains, so if RAW aka Mandira asks him to murder him, well and fine. - you get Raazi and Ek Tha Tiger vibes in here, hence my wish of getting Zoya a bit more depth stems from that.

Asad with his gun, can I say how well Ksg lives Asad? I mean 9 years with 10+ characters so far he has played he still remembers the mannerisms of Asad? The way he picks up the gun the way he balls his fists and drives the car, and the body language? Oh my goodness gracious. Moreover he has learnt how to use the rifle clean it and prepare it and learnt to make proper aim but practicing the sport! Reasons and reasons why I love this man so much, especially as a man who is so passionate about his art and craft 💜

The fights oh oh oh give me more of it baybee! Loved them. Also that was us to Zee too. Ha ha

AsYa is different. This isn't AsYa1.0 this is AsYa2.0, a lot of pressure, yet Ksg sails the ship so easily like he does with his other onscreen ships. This man can romance a non living thing and he has proven this, this here is one of his celebrated onscreen couples whom he liked so much himself. AsYa2.0 has progressed a lot, which helps. The stan is already there, you just have to give the scenes. And that is what about it. The Humour also helps. + Points to the banter in the trailer. The last scene is where the entire FD died. Like died aww so cute it is but I think it was just a nakli shaadi wala episode going on. Dil se asli hai, but hai nakli 😂 S1 Stan's will know what I am reffering to 😂 the car fight gave Pyaasi atma feels thou 😂

SJ as ZF2.0 hmm costumes remain an issue but okay, I am seeing her literally after 8yrs. I ofc will be influenced by my older memories of ZF. Looking forward to her character because I expect more from what was seen I really think some dept to her character would be good than just being there as a female lead.. Again imo. Oh her dialogues were really good. 🤟

Cinematography, the background score, the dop, the camera work, all impeccable! Very helping to make the aesthetically pleasing trailer/show. They have put a lot of hardwork which is visible. The trailer is so good that it actually can give any bollywood movie trailer a run for money.

I can probably go on and on but I will later on when the show is out.

9.5/10 won't give it full marks scope for improvement is lost 😂

Zee, this show is your baby, you have to take care of it. No one else can.

Wasn't all that for AsYa1? This is AsYa2.0, nothing is same apart from the names. Like literally nothing. Though much glad about that me is😆 and I am sure even others are because we all were worried about it. But yes Zee has gotten out QH2 for Stans who are just like U 😆 or else this deserved to have a new name along with new character names 😆 but I guess it's easier that way to connect than having a fresh show. Like see, you already can't bear AsYa separated, you wouldn't give a chance to anyone even they can fall in love fore the silliest reason yet you will stan them madly.. They don't even need to work hard on making the couple ship sail because it is already sailing. It is already pre conceived to you that AsYa ar meant to be and can't be separated, though they may not even deserve each other or they end up doing something that doesn't let them to be together, Anyone else is a vamp/villain, though they might not be. You will be already hooked to watch the second season for the wish to want them to be together.

What a masterstroke Zee. 😈 👏

AsYa2.0 is fine so far I am not having much complaints from them so far. But over all I expected better characterization of Zoya. Maybe a bit more layered? Zoya seemed like any other FL. Just there for being the female lead doing nothing much but making it difficult for the ML to complete his mission. Though I can't say much about Zoya so far actually as the Trailer has been Asad oriented, but could have been done better knowing what is coming up due to the BTS scenes coming to Asad Ahmed Khan

Asad 2.0 is way different from Asad1.0. Asad 2.0 had to do two things correctly for me to love him, he checked all the boxes, those I didn't even know had existed before seeing him 🤣 but he did 😎

I loved loved loved when Asad said Hindustani Dhokha Nahi Dete. This is gonna be the theme that the entire show and the next will work on as they will have to keep it open ended. May 1001% end on the terms that Asad feels betrayed by Zoya, though it may not be the case. Also I don't think Asad killed her father but they have to create the MU for the next season to take place, like said the stans already are pre convinced that AsYa belong to each other, so give the silliest of the reasons to separate they will watch the second season and all that comes next. 😉 Masterstroke Zee didi 😎

Ha ha honestly to me KSG matters 😆🤣 I would even give opportunity to even Mandira and Asad's character ship if I had my way 😆 I don't believe in unnecessary hate unless it's anyone named Tanveer 😆

Two more things, glad none of the worthless people in the trailer were shown in the trailer. They kept only Serbia story knowing only that will sell over their Indian Part of the story aka Dilshad and Rashid and etc. Two, Cinematography is beyond beautiful. The camera work is awesome full points to Romit and team. The dialogues too good.

Sad part, Serbia/Pakistan side toh sab dikha diya almost, kya baki raha phir for the remaining😆 Kzk situation once again 🤣skip pause skip 🤣

Even on IF - fanfictions have higher number of viewers than original stories. Coz it's easier to imagine two people we have already seen to two people we haven't seen.

Come to think of it, I think I kind of liked Zoya 1.0 a tad bit better coz I think there was a lot of element there. But no complaints coz these two are totally the grown up versions of Asad and Zoya. And Asad and Zoya were the one couple I could imagine as anyone and everyone - doctors, lawyers, anything.

Also, doesn't this series remind you slightly of Faasle? The FF Bheegi wrote. It's given me Faasle vibes from day 1. Lol. 😂😂😂

Mandira Bedi doesn't seem evil to me mean. Idk why half the people are finding her evil. I'd rather have it as wrong timing and wrong circumstances rather than some evil force working to keep two people apart.

Sana - I don't like her coz I can't imagine Asad with anyone else. Asad the character has a certain sanctity that they have maintained. He might be totally different from Asad 1.0 - he is. But there's still a certain sanctity to him that you can see in the stoic way he does things, even when he's expressing his love for her. So I guess I can't imagine him having a sort of past and shit. And also, I don't like the actor playing Sana. Personal prejudice. 🤦😂😂

Regarding the supposed cliffhanger ending we'll get, I think the exact reverse of what you think..I think she'll feel betrayed by him and I totally want him to kill her Dad. I have had enough of Zoya and her Abbu in S1.. 😂😂 I like the brother angle.

YESSS. Totally. I am glad how they kept all extra elements outside the trailer. I wish they'd done that in the series as well. I am not interested in Asad's family this time and the two wives and two families and all. Coz Zoya's family is refreshing - it's new. We didn't have that last time.

If you trust me, I can assure you this is the best they could have come up with and is the best they have. Also why it is a masterstroke by Zee.

The show has to end in the Terms of betrayal for the next season. I just said in the DT. Copy pasting the comment : If we follow the spoilers, this still has Father abandonment theme of S1. And they will keep it ambiguous for the season 2 ofc this is gonna end with both of them feeling betrayed by each other - shuru hone se pehele khatam ho kahani. Max to maz Asad apart from feeling betrayed he also will be double crossed. Unfortunately that music box and father abandonment issues are still a subplot.
