I don't take a lot of interest in the off-screen dynamics but I am just going to be honest here, kisiko bura lage toh please kshama kar dijiye 😊
I have watched a couple of segments where Aishwarya Sharma tries very hard to whitewash her character and it's annoying. That's probably why her performance doesn't translate onscreen because she hasn't understood the Patralekha she is supposed to play. The writers and the actor are not on the same page. However, it's also important to remember that she is also relatively new to the industry, quite like Ayesha. Ayesha has been showered with love because she's playing a great character and also because she's playing her well but Aishwarya is probably playing a prominent character for the first time, who is negative. She isn't experienced enough to deal with the criticism that comes with it. She and the directors are living in some sort of bubble where she thinks she's doing a perfect job but that's about the only wrong thing with her. I don't blame her for posting stories and photos because it's her damn account. She is also quite outgoing so it may seem like overacting or whatever.
Lastly, I imagine it mustn't be very nice when you post about your engagement and people enter the comments section with "We only want SaiRat/Neilsha" blah blah. ITV audiences always get very invested in their favourite show and characters, so much so that they confuse the real and reel. Fans seem to think that NEIL-AISHWARYA'S engagement is going to affect SAI and VIRAT. The makers aren't that stupid. Again, with time Aishwarya will learn that all this is part and parcel of being an ITV actress. But I genuinely think people read too much into anything she does and get annoyed for no reason.
As viewers, we should only be concerned with how she does in front of the camera, which frankly isn't great at this point.
I agree with many things you have written but I think where most of us get irritated is that they blindly copy KD but cut sairat scenes short and add more pakhi scenes...
If they want to blindly copy then copy everything AtoZ from KD, why to add creativity...
If we get more sairat scenes fans will automatically stop complaining.. There has to be a balance..
Also, regarding her offscreen segments, honestly, i would have loved her character if she owned it both offscreen and onscreen.. She is lagging in her expressions and is constantly whitewashing pakhi as if she is pakhi and it is not a character.. Negative leads actually have so many more variations than positive because they are layered, that is why villains (won't call her one) become so popular.. That is why even today more than kasuati zindagi ki, komolika's character is remembered!!
She has the opportunity to make her character iconic, but she is busy thinking fans hate her.
About her roka, most of us are very happy with it because it is their personal life. The thing that bothered us was the timing.. it could have been announced later. The next day was the 100 episode celebration and fans were eagerly looking forward to it. Somewhere it came as a shock, it was actually a matter of timing..
